DataGridView Act As AnnounceURLs - Manager And ComboBox To Set The Active AnnounceURL?

I have a DataGridView control with two columns:
colName
colAnnounceURL
I also have a ComboBox that I need to bind to the colAnnounceURL in the DataGridView.So everytime I add new rows to the DataGridView, the ComboBox will be updated with the items in colAnnounceURL.I have tried the following to no avail:
cboAnnounceURL.DataSource = dgvTrackers
cboAnnounceURL.DisplayMember = "colName"
cboAnnounceURL.ValueMember = "colAnnounceURL"
The code does not cause a crash but does nothing.Both controls are visible to the user. The idea is to have DataGridView act as AnnounceURLs .manager and ComboBox to set the active AnnounceURL.

In the code below, I open excel file, when I try to enter some values into excel cells, and close it afterwards. For some reasons excel process is still active in task manager. I am releasing objects, quiting application like for other excel files in my program, but in this specific example can't do this. The code below is written in Visual Studio 2010, windows 7.

I want to make an application that allows the manager of the company whether the employees are truly active: screenshot and a "timer" to measure the time of the activity of the employee Can be controlled using the mouse or keyboard while the application is not active, but in execution.Is it possible in vb.net to know if the user of the machine is using the mouse or keyboard? My idea is to set a "Timer" which triggers automatically after the connection of the employee and every 10 seconds the application checks whether the mouse position has changed or a letter is entered on the keyboard except the"Timer" Will Be stopped until have a new mouse position or activity on the keyboard. But the problem is: is the application able to know the position of the mouse or to capture all keyboard input even if the application n 'is not active(not in the foreground)?

I have a form which has a dataset and a datagridview. The form is built with 3 textboxes (TxtPracticename, TxtRegion, TxtPostcode) and the datagridview (Dgvcontacts) has 4 columns (address1, address2, address3, town). So when the form loads the textboxes and columns are populated by the following;

Made what I think was a tactical error by using lots of 3rd party controls that made it easy to get stuff going but resulted in carrying a lot of baggage with my apps. Now it is finally time to switch to VB.Net and I want to avoid 3rd party controls as much as possible.
The database is MS Access. Master table called GroupName, key GroupID, string GroupName. Child table is GroupCustomer, key GroupID+CustomerID. Two datagridviews, GroupName on top, CustomerGroup on bottom. I've studied the one to many videos and howto's and it is easy and works like a champ. Fill the tables, sort, filter, add, update, delete, all is well.
Top grid
GroupID1 GroupName1
GroupID2 GroupName2
and so on.....

However, adding a third table is where I get into trouble. In the bottom grid I want to link customerID to the Customer table to pick up Name, address, city, state & zip for display purposes. I've modified the table adapter to create a select query returning the lookup data with the groupID and customerID. It displays nicely on the Fill but doesn't automatically refresh the customer lookup fields when I add or change a customerID and I can't seem to update new records or deletes. The only table in my query that I want to update is the GroupCustomer table but the query is not updateable.I've been trying to figure this out, read articles, learn, step back and think but am still stuck. how to use the controls that come with VS2010.

I've got a form, with a TabControl which has a DatagridView on each of its tabs.
I would like to be able to access the datagridview which is on the active Tab.
I guess code could look something like this:

I am trying to get information from AD and populate it into a DataGridView. The code is as follows:

dirSearcher.PropertiesToLoad.Add("DN")

The DataGridView has columns defined for all the items like "cn", "DN", "description", "info" etc. From the above code, I can only see the "cn" getting listed. I did try to add using the following lines in the "For" loop but cannot access anything.
DataGridView1.Rows.Add(dirSearchResults.GetDirectoryEntry.Properties("DN")(1)) 'Add DN into the second column
DataGridView1.Rows.Add(dirSearchResults.GetDirectoryEntry.Properties("description")(2)) 'Add description into the third column

I have combobox column in datagridview.I have loaded a particular database table column value into it from my mysql database. The combobox in all the rows is filled with my database value successfully.But i am unable to select values from it.
And my second problem is I am unable to retrieve the penultimate row values in datagridview before the new row which is automatically generated.The error for it is nullpointerexception. But i have values in that row.

I have a combobox on a datagridview on my form. The problem I encounter is I have to click the button twice to see the items at the dropdownlist rather than once at runtime. Is there any change I can make probably in properties of the datagridview / combobox to show the dropdown list by clicking once rather than twice..

I though the problem was resolved but unfortunately is not.. I added this code to my form; Me.DgvReturns.Item(6, 0).Value = Me.DgvReturns.Item(5, 0).ValueThis Only affects the first line of the datagridview.. The second, third, fourth etc etc records are not reflected. Therefore, the vale of the textbox is not shown on the combobox.

I am using visual studio 2008, vb.net Windows app and ms access 2003.I just wanted to know that there is a form in which i select an option from the list of options in combobox.. While the user selects a type, i want the data relevant to the type be displayed in the datagridview. I have a datagridview which have a ComboBoxCell, ComboBox is bound to data,, I want to use it as Traditional ComboBox,, I mean I want to display its Item (from display members) on the base of its value.

I bound a column ("Initials") of DataGridView (which is bound to dataset ds) to dataset ds2 ("employees"). This part works fine (comboboxes appear loaded with employees initials in combobox selection), but theere is no default value in the column. Do I have to add some event handler or binding stuff??

I am trying to have cascading comboboxes within a datagridview.I have it partially working. dataset1 has 2 tables, with a parent-child relation built inDatagridview1 contains:column 1: combobox, bound to bindingsource 1 which is bound to dataset1column 2: combobox, bound to bindingsource 2 which is bound to bindingsource 1when column 1 is selected, column 2 choices are limited to those related to column 1however, if column 2 is chosen in a row that previously had data, and was loaded with the form, then its choices stay the same as the last row where column 1 was physically selected before column 2.I seem to need to refresh the binding source somehow to emulate how it works if I was to go into column 1 and make a selection by hand.H
