I am programming in Windows Mobile SDK 6 using Visual Basic, i would like to know how to make a button open the smartphone browser with a specific website path (make a link)

Ive done this before but i forget now , all i want to do is , , when i click a button on my form it directs me to a website , my for doesnt have a browser on it , so it will be bringing me to a webpage externally, firefox or IE etc

I am looking for the best way to do this and from searching I think that injecting a DLL is the best route. I am 'simply' wanting to create a button or link label on a window from a compiled .exe I do not have source code to that will launch another program.

is its possible to have a link/button inside a textbox or label... or other term for that...for example.. i am populating some chapters in a book... then i would only display 250 chars from each chapter... then i would end it and add a "Read More" text in each chapter.. and when they click it.. i would populate the whole chapter of selected chapter in the textbox...

I have searched many forums, including this one, and can't get this to work. I am working in Visual Studio 2008, using Visual Basic. I want to create a Button Click Event that vibrates my phone. I have tried over 20 different code ideas and none of them are clean of errors when I build my project. All I want is a simple vibrate when I click a button, nothing dramatic in the lines of varying the vibration or anything like that. Here is my Button Click Event code, what do I put between there to make this work?

So I need to make a windows form where it has a button to push and a label. There needs to be a list of 10 words/phrases. And when the button is pushed a random word/phrase is put into the text of the label. I have a section of code/psudo code but it keeps saying I am missing declarations when I try to run the program in debug...

The errors all seem to be declarations for the lines of the array (strHello(x) = "xxxxx xxxxx")... What declaration am I missing? and how do I make the list give a random response to change the label text?

I'm attempting to use waveOutSetVolume from coredll.dll to gradually increase the audio volume from silent (or near silent) to maximum.
Most of the code examples I'm finding show some predefined set points for Off, Low, Normal, Medium, High, and Very High like this:

OK, and here's some API documentation which doesn't make a lot of sense to me in this particular context. What is low-order word and high-order word and how can they both exist in a single value?
· dwVolume New volume setting. The low-order word contains the left-channel volume setting, and the high-order word contains the right-channel setting. A value of 0xFFFF represents full volume, and a value of 0x0000 is silence. If a device does not support both left and right volume control, the low-order word of dwVolume specifies the volume level, and the high-order word is ignored.

i am doing project of Order Accepting system for five star hotels.Scenario is Waiter will accept order using Window Mobile which is Connected to WiFi present in hotel.I want to communicate to database(Sql Server) present on My Machine (Computer present in kitchen) through WiFi and Add order into table present inside database. This should notify my application present on Compter and should print order. After completion of Order Application from kitchen will notify to waiter about completion. My problem is How to Communicate with database present on Remote computer using WiFi from windows Mobile.

Ok theres a link on my friends website which changes every refresh, and he has to click it every morning. The place of the link doesn't change, just the url changes and the text of the link. There isn't any form there that I could submit but how do I do that. It's not one of those google ads, I'm not even trying to make ad clicker because google bans your account, and you can't click from your pc at all.

I am trying to make a program for my Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Device that communicates via TCP/WiFi To my pc, however, on my windows mobile device, when i launch a program with an import [system.net] it keeps giving me an error, and it is unable to launch the program. Is there an update that i am missing? or am i missing a package in win mobile with the system.net resources?

I need to write an app for Windows Mobile 6.1 as a winform. I've been doing asp.net pages to run on them before. When I create a project in VS2008, do I select Smart Device? Or Windows and do a basic app to run on it? If I select Smart Device, it asks for the Target platform and I only have:

I wanta make a autoupdater with my website but the thing is that the files i upload always have a random link it not like [URL] its like [URL]. so can i still get the autoupdate i saw some tuts with it i got it to read the txt but i was thnk that can i make it read a txt with the link in it then goes to it

Im really bored an I can't think of another program to make but im going to give it a shot. Im trying to make a program that can turn on caps lock when you push button 1(Yes I know theres already a caps lock button on the keyboard Lol) and turn on off caps lock with button2. Im am also trying to see everytime i push button 3 it will hold shift down for as long as o dont let go of the left mouse button but when I let go of the left mouse button it will let go of button 3 and shift will be off O.o. Is there a way to do this?
