I'm making a application which can send e-mails through ms-outlook 2000.I wan't to send an html e-mail message so i added the html-code beneath for the html.body text.

I am using VB.net to send my mails through outlook. Where i am giving the resource path for the pictures inserted in to it.
But Email shows the inline pictures as attachments. what could be the reason?
The important thing is that this is not happening all the time. if we send 5 to 10 times we get the expected result for 2 or 3 times.
i explored some of the forums , got answers like 'changing the settings, security settings of the office outlook. that too is not succeeded.

Need a bit of help with HTML Agility Pack!Basically I want to grab plain-text withing the body node of the HTML. So far I have tried this in vb.net and it fails to return the innertext meaning no change is seen, well atleast from what I can see.

View 1 RepliesI am currently using Outlook 2007 and Excel 2002 SP3 and VBA for OfficeUsing VBA, I want to copy a range from Excel, open a new email in Outlook and then past the range into the body of the email (rather than as an attachment) as a Bitmap (so that the report on the email looks exactly the same a the range that is copied from).I can do most of the above but putting the bitmap into the body of the email is neigh on impossible..I can get VBA to paste the range into an email but then it loses most of its fomatting and looks horrible. Thats why I'd rather put the bitmap into the body of the email.I'm guessing that there is no easy solution to this..

This may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.
What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.

however, I wanted to copy that as html so if someone opens outlook, word, excel etc.... I want to be able to paste into these programs and keep the format.for example, if you are in excel and highlight a range, copy it to clipboard. when you paste into outlook it keeps the cells etc...mine just pastes the raw html into the body The only way this pastes correctly into excel is if i copy a "csv" formatted string. but that dosen't keep colors, alignmnet etc...

I am trying save a value from an input tag in some HTML source code. The tag looks like so:

I have the page source in a variable (pageSourceCode), and need to work out some regex to get the value (3 in this example). I have this so far: [Code] Which works fine most of the time, however this code is used to process source code from multiple sites (that use the same platform), and sometimes there are other attributes included in the input tag, or they are in a different order, eg:

I just dont understand regex enough to cope with these situations.

i have Office 2003 on my developer computer, but my client have Offie 2010. i handle the error on access adding the reference of outlook.exe programatically, but when i have to fix the VB.Net solution, i can't find a way to programatically add the reference of Office 2010 when i don't have that version installed on my computer.

I can retrieve the contents of a webpage into a variable like:x = objIE.Document.body.outerHTMLBut during development (data parse), Ikeep pulling up a live site and instead just want to store some sample html in a format that can be placed in a variable. The issue is that trying to directly place a raw html sample into a variable creates errors and would require going through and escaping quotes etc.

I decided it's time to migrate from VB6 to VB.NET and am currently translating my radio player but have run into several issues so I might be on this forum for the rest of the day... Anyway, in VB6 I used Inet to get the source of a PHP page that had the current song that was playing on the SHOUTcast stream. I can't seem to get Inet to work and figured I would just look for another method so I wouldn't need to pack msinet.ocx along with the finished product.
How can I get the source of the PHP page and store it in a variable or textbox/label.
I have written a code in VB.NET using "Microsoft Outlook 11.0 Object Library" to create an appointment, task or contact in Outlook. Now the problem is once i create an appointment, task or contact from my VB.NET code and then if i open these item in outlook and modifies and save the content (like body of an appointment) then the lastmodification time of these item doesn't gets modified. It always shows the previous lastmodification time. This happens only for those item which got created from my VB.NET code.

I work for a somewhat large company.There are about 160 Windows XP Pro users. We are still using Microsoft Office 2000 for the most part.We have upgraded some users to Office 2003. We are not using Microsoft Exchange.I have to export every users' Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003 Contacts into an Excel or CSV file every 6 months as a way of backing the Outlook Address Contacts.Currently I am doing this by physically going to every pc and manually exporting the contacts.This is a large pain.I am trying to find out if I can use or create a Visual Basic 2008 Express program or script that will export the contacts from Outlook and save it as an Excel or CSV file.The name of the file should be the same as the computers net name.It should be saved in the same location, on the network, each time.I am new to programming and new to VB 2008 Express.I do not know or have any code to start with.
