Change Text Color Of Listview's Group Header In Program?
Nov 17, 2009
I want to change the color of the group header text in listview which separates all the items into various groups, there is no such option to do that directly because no such property exists.
As far as i can think of it can be achieved via overriding the paint event but i have not done any overriding of paint events on windows controls so far.
I want to change the color of the group header text in listview which separates all the items into various groups, there is no such option to do that directly because no such property exists.
How to change the font color of the column header text in my datagridview if the entire column is read-only. I basically use a loop to add columns to my datagridview and then set the properties of the columns. But for some reason setting the DefaultCellStyle.ForeColor and HeaderCell.Style.ForeColor properties does not work. The header text is still black.[code]...
I'm trying to dynamically create a listview. on reports.aspx user selects a bunch of checkboxes. On the next page, user sees reports.aspx, and should see a table with columns of the checkboxes he selected. My idea was to create a listview, then dynamically change the header row of the LayoutTemplate, then change the select statement depending on which columns selected. This is what I have:
Problem is that this doesn't work because i can't put a code block (<%%>) inside the LayoutTemplate. Is there a way in the code behind to edit the LayoutTemplate, or another way to cycle through the Request.Form vars and build the table header row with it?
I am using .NET 1.1, so I don't have the access to listitem object. I would like to change the text color or the background color of certain items in a listbox. can it do it in .NET 1.1?
I am developing a website on writing reports ...users can comment on a report (huh!! as if a new thingy ;))..back to question..what am doing is showing the comments using a listview.
Question: i want that when someone comments on his own post the row should be of different color, so that its clearly visible that the post owner has commented...I have seen this in Scott Guthrie's blog.
Is there a way to change the color of the listview gridlines (black would be nice)? I have Gridlines = True, but the color is so faint that they cannot be seen (for example on Win XP with the default Blue theme). You can only see them on a highlighted item. (If I change the backcolor of the LV to a funky color, I can see them, but I want to keep the default color of "Window" (white when Win XP default them is used).
I am downloading stock data from yahoo finance to a .csv file and populating a Listview I want to change the color of subitem when another value of a subitem changed suppose when Last Trading Price > Day High Price Then Day High Price color is Blue
I have a listview control. I want that whenever I select any row in the listiview its color gets change with some userdefined manner and once deselect it will change to default color

I have created data reports with Group. IF my group details are splitted in 2 pages (say page 1 has 5 records of the group and page 2 has 2 records) the i want to replicate the group header in the top of page 2.
everyone! I've been at this for a while, and I'm not sure how this issue can be resolved:I'm working on a project in VB.Net, and I have a form with a rich text box. I have a groupbox with 4 radio buttons inside that are intended to change the font color of the text. Coincidentally, I have to repeat this same functionality for a 2nd set of radio buttons that would change the text font family.
At any rate what I've only been able to do is the following to successfully change the font color of whatever text I highlight in the rich text box:
Private Sub rbtnBlack_CheckedChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles rbtnBlack.CheckedChanged rtbxTextEditor.SelectionColor = Color.Black End Sub Private Sub rbtnRed_CheckedChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles rbtnRed.CheckedChanged
[Code]...
Is there a way that I could write a sub (I'm assuming I would use a sub, since I don't think I need to return anything, thus eliminating the use of a function) that would handle the action of changing the selected text color in the rich text box without having to use a separate sub for each radio button? Mind you, per my teacher's specs, she doesn't use a button handler for any of this.
Is there a way to color the text in a certain column's rows with the ListView ? Or even a way to put an image in that particular items spot ? It's a status column for current Work Orders, it will be either "Scheduled, Pending C/A, Over Due, Completed"
I have a TextBox that displays a color as its background color and the background color code in its text. I have set the text color as Black. The problem is that if the user sets the color as Black then the color code will be unreadable. How do I set the text color programmatically so that it becomes readable when the user selects any color?
I currently have only used VBA up until now and I have a very small project that requires a VB.net. I have never used this language before. Here is what I would like to do:At work I have 2 different 3rd party programs that I would like to interact with each other. When a color change occurs on Program "A" at a predetermined coordinate on the screen a mouse click is called at a different predetermined coordinate on the screen causing the desired change in Program "B".
I am new to visual basic and i'm having difficulty changing color of a text. I'm currently using visual studio 2008. My program is similar to a search engine in which you type a term inside the searchbox and the program will produce the results in a separate message box that will pop up. I would like for the search results in the message box to be changed to a different color.
