My Chatbox won't work, I got a p2p pack. I put in the Network, and the chat box. But It won't let me connect to my friends, The Network is usually Test. with the password Test...They Put in the Network name and Password name. But i can't see what they say.

View 2 RepliesI am making a program for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and When you are in Multiplayer in most games there is a Chat room, or Chat Box. Do you think that there is any way I can reach maybe an API or possibly monitor the Screen so If someone types !Help in the chat box my bot would Respond like "Software by (whoever) other commands" stuff like that. But I cant seem to find any info about API's in the Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK about Multiplayer Chatbox or any multiplayer functions in that matter.

View 3 RepliesWe have a VB.Net application which works fine in our tests in different Windows XP SP3 machines. However there is one machine in which is displaying this error:
Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts
Using the mysql command, we can successfully connect to the database. We already checked for any other application or firewall that could be blocking the connection but it seems fine. We also reinstalled the system (no errors during the installation) but the MySQL error message doesn't change.
The system settings are exactly the same as in the other computers. We are using "localhost" as server in the connection string. The "hosts" file has its default values (nothing strange in there).
I'm working on an application where I'm using an webcam image. I have code that works when using the built in iSight (It's an Apple running boot camp windows 7) camera. However after installing a second USB powered Microsoft Life Cam I am unable to connect to this second camera. When runnign this code I only ever get one input device:

I am trying to connect to my remote MySql Database within Visual Studio using the compact framework.
I can successfully add a data source and preview the data within the IDE so assume that the connection is ok regarding Connection strings and remote access.
However, when I attempt to access the data using any run time control I get the following error when the table is loaded using the .fill method.

I have an application that requires data be entered, and after entering, a button is clicked to process that data. Clicking the button works just as it should--the data is processed properly. In constructing a test module, I provide a set of data values, followed by:
btnWhatever.PerformClick()
Nothing happens. I have used this syntax for years, and it has always worked flawlessly. I have triple checked everything else and isolated the problem to the failure of the PerformClick(). The PerformClick() is in a test subroutine that does nothing but fill textboxes and labels with default data, then calls the PerformClick() on the button to begin processing. Again, the button works fine, the data is entered as it should be, but the PerformClick() does not fire the click event.
I have a form that works on my local Machine I created into. I have Office 2007 on this machine. I created the Form with the Excel 12 Reference. I move the Entire conetence of the Project folder to my work computer. Which has Office 2003. Do I need to recreate the form with the Excel 11 reference. I could not get the form to work on work computer. IT has a com error. I am acessing the EXE for the debug folder w/in the Bin Folder.

I'm building a VB(2010) program to create the graphics for my laserprojector.The program works when I debug it in VB, but when I run the EXE program in the release directory, it doesn't work. The problem in the EXE program is theat I can't draw/view graphics in the picturebox..I coppied my whole program to a new VB project, but I'm having the same problem...In the original project, where the program works, there are no warnings or errors.

Each time I start the app either in the IDE or from Windows it attempts to connect to the internet. It is not supposed to connect to anything except a local Access mdb file. Nothing in the app has any need to access the internet. If I disallow the connection thru my firewall, I get the following exception:
