What is the keyValue I need for checking for the DELETE key using e.keyValue?
I have a binding navigator in my project and it works just fine.My question is where, if at all, can I find the code that is run when the delete button on the navigator is pressed.My reason for wanting to know this is I want to be able to give the user a second chance when the delete button is pressed.I want to ask the user if they are sure that they want to delete the record by using a msgbox.If the user says yes I will delete if they say no then I do not want the record deleted.I tried putting logic in the BindingNavigator DeleteItem_Click but was not successful.

Also how would I detect if a key is pressed without using the KeyDown event. The reason I am not using the keydown event is when the user holds down a key it calls the event, waits a second than keeps calling it. I do not want the wait period if a user is holding down a key.

I'm copying over some files to a target directory on a daily basis.Before I move the new files over, I'd like to delete the old files under the target folder, possibly using System.IO.Directory.Delete()But my problem is, the target folder is on a public drive where everybody in the company could access, and I don't want to empty the folder while someone else might be using those files.I'm thinking whether there's a Class that check the status on the files in a specific directory before I come in and delete everything.(I know I would get an IOException if I disregard the status of the files and try to delete them)

This works fine, unless I have Windows Explorer open and I'm looking at the 'MySubFolder' directory. Then I get an IOException The directory is not empty. - clicking OK dismisses this and then the folder structure is not deleted. Any thoughts on how I can get this to perform correctly (i.e. delete), even when running this code while having the folder struture open in Windows Explorer?

It appears that the row gets marked for deletion after my BindingNavigatorDeleteItem_Click event handler is processed. Anyway I have used the delete sql method to delete data from a database, I want to refresh the data in the form after the record has been deleted. Do I have to close the form and then open an new instance of it? or is there another way I can refresh the data?

i have a pocket pc that have some special keys and i need detect when a key is pressed in my program. how can i detect the keys that is pressed? i have tested in a textbox change function the box detect all keys except that special keys there is some api to look for alk keys thats is pressed in pocket pc?
