Here's the c# followed by the vb.net function.

Dim hex as String = "FFFF"
Dim int as Integer = Val("&h" & hex)
The problem is that it only returns a signed integer, so the example above gives -1 instead of 65535. Is there a way to make Val return a Long instead f.ex. , or an other way ?
