Jun 6, 2011The problem I'm facing now is when I set my DateTimePicker format yyyy-MM-dd, when I put a date in that column, they will auto generate the time now.For example, i entered 2011-03-30 but they will save in database 2011-03-30 10:56:54 AM.Question here is:How can I do where i want it to be "2011-03-30 00:00:00" ?

Convert Excel Date To Sql Server Date Time Format Using ACE Provider?
Jun 24, 2011I am attempting to import data in a batch from an Excel Worksheet to a Sql Server database. Everything works except for the one date field in the spreadsheet. The date returned is off by four years from the value in the spreadsheet. Example: The Excel sheet has a date 10/24/2010 14:18, but when I look at the column in my query, the date is 10/23/2006 2:18. This pattern, 4 years and 1 day earlier, is repeated for every row in the worksheet.
The Excel column comes to me as a custom type, formatted m/d/yyyy h:mm. I receive this from an outside vendor and having them change the column is not going to be my simplest solution.
For what it's worth, the relevent part of the query is:

Convert Date From US Format To UK Format?
Dec 15, 2009All of my regional settings in control panel are set to UK but when I retrieve a date from an SQL database (run from my PC) in my program, it appears in the MM-DD-YYYY format rather than the DD-MM-YYYY format that I expect.
After a bit of troubleshooting I found that this is because of the fact that SQL server always stores its dates in that format - so then when my program reads the data from the database it interprets it as being the US format.How can I convert this to UK format bearing in mind I am working with Date objects not strings?

Dec 10, 2009I have a text file that has dates and my application is to take all the data from text file to store it into my database but i have a problem in reading the dates in the text file it take all the dates except the dates that start with 13/11/2009 and that's because he assumed that 13 is the day ,11 is the month so it gives me the below error when it retrive all the date after 12/11/2009 The statement has been terminated.
