Apr 2, 2010I am generating a report to Excel and each group in the report needs to be on another worksheet. The number of groups can vary on each report. I have set up my headings as a template on "Sheet1" in the Excel workbook. Part of this headings is a picture of the company logo.I use this to copy the headings and create the next worksheet and then paste the headings onto the new worksheet.[code]"ColRow" is a public function used to set the Column and Row for Excel Ranges "i" is an interger keeping track of the sheet we are working on.And it all works perfectly except that the company logo does not come with during the paste.I would really like to know how to bring the company logo across as well.

Mar 22, 2011I want to copy an HTML file from one location to another using VB.net. When i use any of the three FileCopy, System.IO.File.Copy, My.Computer.FileSystem.CopyFile it copies only the file and not the "filename_files" folder which contain its associated images and scripts.
What i want to do programatically is copy a.html to another location as b.html
when i do that and open b.html it opens it without any images and scripts.

It has to deal with LOTS of images (100's potentially) There will be the set of default images, and then the user created replacement images. I started loading all the defaults into a resx file... thinking then I could just pull them out. now that I started setting the default, this sucks! lol the app will do this, on load it will set all the images (variables) to the resx images then when a theme is loaded, it will replace the default with the user image (if the user img exists) otherwise, the default stays. Then the "screen" is drawn to show the user. so, here is just the images to build the wallpaper, dock, and status bar...

Aug 12, 2010I was thinking to make an app to save images [or download images] to local hard disk. But to keep it easy, I want this app to create a small picturebox on form to show the thumbnail of downloaded image. Lets say a 5 pictureboxes has to be added with the thumbnails to show the recent downloads. A user can save the location where he wants to save the files on hard disk. A listbox or a dropdown menu will help in categorizing the images, like image1 in friends section, image2 in family section, image3 in others, etc... When the program restarts all the latest 5 thumbnails has to be loaded in pictureboxes and the directory that was chosen. Finally, a button that shows the downloaded images into original image file size one by one or a slide show. Is it possible to make such program?

I can make the lights randomly flash using a randomGenerator and a Select case statement. However, the code is very long. There are 67 lights on this tree and the code is 71 pages long. Dec 1, 2010As I understand it a shallow copy is like a CLONE copy of an object where the values for each property are independent of one another whereas a DEEP copy is a copy that uses the same memory locations and therefore if you change a value in one it is also shown in the second item ( By Reference to the same memory locations ).So my main question is, when dealing with CLASSEs, STRUCTUREs etcetera containing REFERENCE types.is there anyway to quickly create a CLONE or shallow copy of an OBJECT or not ? The only way I can think of is to put the item into a one dimensional array and use the CLONE method for an array. [code]

Example: File a will take 1 hour to copy, File B will take 30 minutes to copy. Estimate Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
