Creating Tables In Word Programmatically?

I am generating tables and writing them to word on the fly. I do not know how many tables there will be each time i write the data to word and the problem I am having is the second table is written inside the first cell of my first table. If there was a third table it is put inside the first cell of my second table.Is there a way to move the cursor out of the table? I have tried creating a new range with each table also but the same thing happens.I have also tried things like tbl.Range.InsertParagraphAfter()The closest I came was using the Relocate method, but this only worked for two tables.

Basically in visual basic 6 I could access word tables in existing templates with the code owordactivedoc.tables(1).select() where owordactivedoc refers to the active word document and tables(1) refers to the first table in the template.Trying the same code in VB 2003 just leads to errors. Secondly how do I access bookmarks or alternatively word variables.Furthermore how do one deploy web.services. For example the current program I am building is for another computer. Simply copying the web service to Inetpubwwwroot dont work because it is not picked up by the Internet Information Services program. I have to create the web service in vb2003 on the other computer change msconfig manually. Copy and paste the existing service vb file in the created folder replacing the empty vb file.

I am rewriting an application written in VB6 in VB2008.I need to beable to Create and Delete Tables from the Database at run time.I have succefully added tables to the database but can not figure out how to delete them.I'm sure I just overlooked something but have been unable to find any info on it.

A suite of apps will be using various tables out of the same sql server database.Regardless of which app is being used, the database structure must stay current. (ie:contain all the tables/fields to run any/all of the apps)So, when the user starts any of the apps, it needs to check the database, for the existence of all the tables and fields it needs, then update if necessary.

I have a SQL Server database for which I have created a strongly-typed DataSet (using the DataSet Designer in Visual Studio 2008), so all the adapters and select commands and whatnot were created for me by the wizard.
It's a small database with largely static data, so I would like to pull the contents of this DB in its entirety into my application at startup, and then grab individual pieces of data as needed using LINQ. I have found several open-source/freeware programs that allow you to convert .doc files to .pdf files, but they're all of the application/printer driver variety, with no SDK attached.
I have found several programs that do have an SDK allowing you to convert .doc files to .pdf files, but they're all of the proprietary type, $2,000 a license or thereabouts.
Does anyone know of any clean, inexpensive (preferably free) programmatic solution to my problem, using C# or VB.NET?

I need to develop an application that can search through a book and list out all the pages and lines that contain a given keyword. For books that are split up in some other way, such as a bible which is split up by chapter and verse; they would be able to search for all verses that contain a certain keyword. Or alternatively, search within certain chapters and verses for a keyword. What format should I store the book into? Should it be stored into a SQL database? What format would be easiest for searching as opposed to easiest for storage?

I am trying to make an application that will take the information entered into the program and generate a quote sheet using Microsoft word. Right now I am having trouble creating tables in the word document. The user can choose to quote between 1 to 4 different products. If 1 product is quoted, then it will create a 6x3 table. If 2 products are quoted, then it will create a 6x5 table with the 3rd column separating the 2 products. If 3 or 4 products are quoted then it will create another table under the first table and follow the same rules as the first table. The program works perfectly if I quote 3 or 4 products but when I try to quote 1 or 2 products then it results in an error.

I am working on a program which makes tables in MS WORD. But there are many parameters that should be asked. Its so embarrassing to ask all of them with inputbox while codes are working. I made forms for each tables which will be created. While codes are working, when it is the time to create table, form appears and user inputs the datas and press OK button and table is build according to these datas in MS Word. I have a project working on at work, it involves creating an invoice for each client and attaching that invoice to an email and sending it out. I chose to use XML for the data manipulations. I could have easily gone with a access file or a sqlCe db, but that would cause my data to be in a proprietary format; this is what i am running from. Furthermore, I have no experience with XML data and i thought here would be a good place to start.
I am reading the data for the invoices from a text file that will always be in a specific format each time it is produce. Information from this text file is stored in a generic list of a Class name Invoice.
The area where i am having the problem is where after collecting the data i now need to save it in an XML format. here is what i have so for

I have an unbound DataGridView control where I have defined the columns at design time.Currently to add a new row I use a like this:
gridname.row.add(value1, value2, value3, value4)
This offends my sense of good programming because if I add a column to the grid or change the order of the columns then I need to alter the line above. What I want to do is to create a new datagridviewrow complete with columns and then populate the values like so:
dr.cells("FirstName").value = value1
dr.cells("LastName").value = value2
dr.cells("Address").value = value3
Just like I do when editing an existing row in the grid.I thought I could do the following:

dr = MyGrid.RowTemplate
I thought this would give me a new row complete with cells but no values. Appartently this is the wrong property. Is there a property that will give me a blank row, but with the cell names/types that have already been defined in the grid defined in the row?Yes, I know I can take an existing row and just clear the values but when this program load, there are not always existing rows.don't tell me I am going to have to add the columns myself. dr.cell.add(cell definition)

I am able to insert a textbox into a Word document using the below code:

This adds a textbox to the first page of the document however even when I change the first (top) parameter I am unable to move the textbox onto the second page (only lower down onto the 1st page, any greater values than the height of the first page an it disappears).
How can I get the textbox to appear on the 2nd page of the document?

When I create a form using only one table in a database this works fine. However when I create a form that uses at least two tables I am getting an error on my ReceiptsAdapter (or my SQLDataAdapter). It's saying that I am using the incorrect syntax and need the keyword "From." I am assuming that I am getting this error because I am using multiple tables in my SQLCommand statement.
