Determine If Property Is Generic List<of T> Via Reflection And Loop List Items

I'm looping all the properties in an object via reflection:
For Each p As PropertyInfo In values.[GetType]().GetProperties()
If p.CanRead Then
'Do stuff
End If
Next
how to determine whether the property in question is a generic List(Of T)? If it is I need to loop the list itself.
I've experimented with GetType and TypeOf but have not managed to get anything working.
To clarify, I want to keep this generic. I do not want to specify the type of T, I need to loop the list items and call the ToString method on each item. T could be one of a number of different types (application specific reference types). Is it possible to do this without specifying types?
In my VB.net application I am populating my customer object and looping through it as shown below.As there are thousands of customers, I want to do it 500 customers at a time.Is there anyway I can have one more For loop to process 500 customers at one shot in vB.netI am not using LinQ as the database is Oracle.[code]

I'm writing code some that is supposed to be creating a list of objects pulled from a data base. The list returned has every item containing the value of the last one added. When I debug the code is VS2008 I can see each time that the list.add is performed every other item in the list being changed to the one just added. Here is the code I running. The MerchantCode, the MerchantUsername, the MerchantPassword are all good the List is a custom type called SetComHash.Transaction
Everytime I try adding a string to the list such as the transactionNumber and some other values it gives me a type error:

What would be the fastest way to sort a list that contains a list of objects, based upon another list? An example follows:Say I have multiple lists of employees. This program is supposed to allow the user to check items in a checked list box. If the item is checked, it goes into the Completed List Box on the right. The program then adds the unchecked items to the Pending list box on the left. Another program I am working on for fun, I am basically shuffling a list inside a listbox, what I want to do is delete the rest but not sure how to go through with that. At the moment I have this: [code] Just contains the code, declarations outside weren't included.So anyway, once clicked, it will call on the function to basically shuffle in a for loop, I was wondering if I should (or how should) create another function and call it in the click button or have just a loop in the click button so it deletes half the list. What I am doing is I have 20 list of items, I want the program to shuffle the items and then deleting the lower 10, meaning, if I had 10 items and wanted 5 top, I'd want: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and deleting 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.

The compiler does not allow a "T" in the method's parameter because it's not defined, but I'm not sure how or where to define it. I thought it was okay to have a generic method definition.

I am creating a dynamic clone method to be used in my custom classes. I want the clone function to be completely generic, so I do not have to make any changes when I add new properties to the class. I am having an issue with regards to making a deep copy a property that is a List. sample code that will enable me to identify with reflection that a property of my class is a List, and then more importantly the code to loop through the the List elements and copy of each of them. I have been able to identify a property as a List by using the NameSpace of the property type, but I'm not a big fan of that method. Either way, I have yet been able to dynamically loop and deep copy the elements of the property that's a List using reflection.
I have created a simple windows forms application. I would like to be able to connect to that running application and view certain properties from a seperate windows form application. In VB6 I would have run the first application and then called GetObject to connect to the instance. Does anybody know how I could do this in .Net. I'm guessing I'd have to use reflection to get a list of applications running and then somehow connect to them but I'm not sure how to do this?
