Also if I declare the nodebtn as a global variable, I do not face this problem, the button is dragable. However when I click to add new buttons, no new button is generated, instead a button is generated with the count on it. Am I tackling this problem of drag and drop in the right manner or am I completely wrong at this.

Feb 1, 2010So I have an excel app with a drop down list and it contains many values. Is there a way I can just search through that drop down list in vb.net? I can't seem to find where these values that populate the drop down list even come from So I thought just searching through it is easier?

Jun 17, 2012I'm using vb.net. Basically, I have a drop down list, text box and a submit button. You choose a movie director from a drop down list, then type in a movie, click button and it adds the data to my database.There's another button which hides/shows drop down list, text box and submit button using Visible = True and Visible = False, but what I don't like about it is when it hides the things I said before, it leaves some white/empty space like if they are still there, but not visible.Is there anyway to put some kind of holder/container and place a button which when clicked could add my drop down list, text box and submit buttons to that place?

VS 2008 URL / Search Bars And Buttons Won't Minimize
Aug 26, 2009When i maximize my screen my web browser displays perfectly , when i minimize i start to get problems. I have the tabbed web browser anchor set to left,right,top,bottom , so it minimizes perfectly. My problem is my URL/search bars and buttons wont minimize like the browser does, ive tried using the anchor settings but it just put everything everywhere. What am i doing wrong ?

Resolution And Buttons - Tabs, Inside Each Tab There Are Buttons (the User Can Add The Buttons When They Want)
Mar 3, 2012I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

I wanna give the following instruction to the people: press these buttons in the following order: first buttonA, then buttonB, then buttonC and last buttonD. If they obey this instruction then a picture will be displayed, for instance a happy face. All the other combinations will not activate this picture to be displayed, or in other words, there won't be any consequence. I would also like to save this data using windows note pad e.g., writeline (1, xxxxxx). Is there any chance I will make it?

then i need then to hide different buttons depending on which button was pressed. so say i pressed button 1 then all the buttons showed but alternativly if i had of pressed 2 then say button 5 and 6 disapear.managed to get one way to work but then i would only ever end up with the first results every time.
