Oct 28, 2011i'm developing an application that extracts all the icons of a .exe file or a .ico file. the ExtractAssociatedIcon in System.Drawing.Icon only do this for the first icon which is 16x16. I would be able to extract the other formats like 64x64 or 128x128. I know that there is a Windows API that may help me, but i don't know how to call its methods or even how to use that.

Dec 31, 2009so here is my scenario. I have two input files... both are plain text files. File1 has customer name, customer address and invoice number. File2 has customer name, customer address, invoice number AND a keyline. File1 will only contain some of the records in File2, and it will change daily. I need to be able to compare File1 against File2 and output one file (preferably an Excel spreadsheet) with the info from File1 and the keyline from File2, that matches the duplicated info. I know the basics to get it to work, but I'm not sure what would be the easiest way of doing this... File2 can have up to 100,000 records per day. I'd only need to run it once a day though.

I successfully created this example but the file name in the example is hardcoded. My program creates backup files and numbers them starting a one. Here is the portion of my code that i am referring to.

Now heres the problem. In the file i have a few pictures and its formatted and what not. I thought since its a RTF file and the Box is RTF it would auto format.... but anyways. It appears like this in the RTF Box.
