For Loop - Deleting Selected ListView Item From INI File

I have an ini File which I use as an "index" of jar files. The Jars are declared in it like:
Name of the jar=c:Path
So when my application starts, the ini file gets loaded in a list view. I have a delete button, with which I want to delete the jars from the list view and the ini file. It must be possible to delete multi choiced jar references. so I thought to do it with for each, so that every selected item get searched in the ini and deleted. The Error is, that the String (is correct, I tested it with a messagebox) get analysed - Unknown escape sequence R (The error is between the ** **)

I have a form with a treeview and a listview. The treeview lists the folders on your system and listview shows the files in the selected folder, similar to windows explorer. I have a delete button for deleting files.

When deleting multiple files a confirmation message box pops up for each file selected. I would like to have it come up once and ask 'Are you sure you want to send these 'x' files to the recycle bin?' where 'x' is the number of files selected.

What im trying to do is display my details in a listbox then the one that is selected frm the listbox is displayed in the textboxes and when delete button is clicked it is flagged at deleted??? This is what should happen!!:@
I kow there is definitely a problem with this piece of code im setting the index and length to constant numbers so if a different name is clicked it does not work!! is there another way to set this to allow for any length or index position??

I have a list view control on one of my forms in my program.If i click on a selected item and click on the delete button it gets removed. But i want it so that if i havent got an item selected i click on delete i get a message box telling the user to select an item to delete.

Im having some trouble figuring out how I should delete these items. I want it to delete the one I have selected in the listview and delete the corresponding item in the DB. Ive tried various combination's and this is the latest one I have:

So where am I messing up? I keep getting errors no work done but when I close the form2 and open it back up no DB items show up in the Listview. But I close my project, and open it back up and they're back. All while never changing in the DB.

Ok, so I have a listview on one form, and when a button is pressed it opens up a new form with the contents of the selected listview item and it's subitems in a series of textboxes. The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. What command would I use to change the selected listview item and subitems to whatever is in the boxes?

I want to get the value of an item selected in a list view. I want to sotore the value of the columns of the item selected in a diffrent variable. the problem is that I can only get the value of the first column and I don't know how to get the value of the other columns. I need to add another variable and store the value of the second column in that variable.

I'm trying to figure this small issue out, I need to keep whatever selection the user selects highlighted/selected even if clicking in another row in the listview. The only way I could get this to work prior was with 'lvwStrd.Items.Item(0).Selected = True..However this breaks my program as the index isn't correct, due to the '0', is there a way I can keep whatever item they selected selected even while clicking other rows in the listview(they are empty, there are only one to two options at a time).

I have this script which is designed to loop through all of the selected listview items, and delete them from the ftp server. - The list view item names are exactly the same name as they are on the FTP server.

Some info:
The FTP server works fine! I'm using it in other places in my script, and those functions work fine. ftp.FtpDelete works fine as a function, I've used it to delete single files before. It doesn't delete any of the files, it just gives me a load of exceptions.

I thought that instead of directly downloading the images, usic, or whatever to the computer right away-why not have the user pic and choose. So, the transfering of the items that the user might want to download is sent to a new form. I have a picturebox that shows up a X symbol showing that it can't be loaded.

Using VB.net 2010 i am trying to figure out if an item was selected or not. Reason being is that if the user clicks on an item and pushes a button then everything works just fine. However, if the user selects an item and then clicks on a blank spot on the bottom of the listview and then clicks the button then it crashes.

I've been searching round Google for a soltuion for this problem for awhile now, though I have not yet found anything useful.I'm in the process in making a program that makes a list of all the computers on a network. All fo the values are saved in a Listview.
What I need is a way to selected something in the Listview, and it to be added to another value (for example, a textbox)I did find one solution, though this added this to every value "ListviewItem: [ITEM]" while instead of that, I just want the item.

this seems like such a stupid question but I've taken a long while off from coding and have forgotten how to call up the text from the selected item in a listview. This is because there is no '.text' function within the listview. I looked all over the internet but found 0 solutions . Everything I found just didn't quite answer the question. I've turned the web upside down looking for a way to do this.The only thing I found(although I couldn't get it to work) was the example from the documentation, and it's more code than there is in my program to begin with.
There has to be a simply method of changing the BackColor of the selected item in the ListView details view.I know it's selected when you click on it, and you can press the up/down arrow keys and it'll scroll through the items.
I just want to change the backcolor from the default dark blue to something else, with a line or two of code.
