Mar 8, 2009im making a tabbed web browser, and wondered if i can add a label and see what the page is loading, similar to other browsers like in the bottom left EG. "Connecting to [url]" etc. Note, im using TabControl, so commands like "WebBrowser1.Stop()" etc, will not work for me.

Aug 25, 2008I am working on a tabbed web browser with status bar and combo box history. I am running VS Visual Basic 2008 EE on Windows Vista Home Premium. Anyways, the problem I am having is I can't get the status bar to show the status of current browser window, nor can I get the combo box to save the history of sites that are typed in. Aug 19, 2009I have a form with an Adobe PDF reader control. I point to a specific PDF I want to load when a button is clicked. The PDF is 28 Megs big and takes some time to load into the reader. I would like a progress bar to to show (like a showdialog kind of thing) so the user does not click all over the place and thinks the app is static.
The PDF reader is loaded like this:

How would I update the progressbar1 control to reflect the time it takes to load? I checked the AxAcroPDFLib Namespace and found no "progresschange" type of functions or events.

lblStatus is the label which will display the current status. But.. while user click the button, "Verifying Data File" is not displaying. After the system complete the whole progress, lblStatus only display the text.
