- The "pin" (username) box on the site doesn't have an ID. (Can't use getelementbyid)
- The picture doesn't have an ID either

While I don't know of any API that I can use, I think it would be easy enough to simply check the page and see if there are any new work orders listed. The question I have is how to access the work order page. Every a few minutes field nation logs you out of their website. At that point I am required to log back in again to access my account. How can I automate or bypass this process so that my program and regularly check for new workorders?

I'm in need of a "global" type timer that will allow me to basically run a clock the entire time someone is on my site, no matter what pages they go to. I've played around with the timer available for forms but I didn't see a way to make it continue to run after someone left that page.The effect I'm attempting to create is for a timer to start whenever someone hits my site, then every X minutes an event will trigger. This event should happen no matter where they are on the site. I've read a couple articles on timers but to be honest I'm fairly new to VB and I didn't know if I really needed to learn about 'threading' etc, to get a timer to work.

The idea is when they click on a site all the details for the site are loaded and then a second thread sits and pings each device to see if its live. Im trying to do this in a seperate thread so if they click another site while its still pinging them it doesn't wait before it switches site. This all seems to be workling fine except if you click through the sites quickly, when you do that it will eventually come up with

When i publish my program i choose to let the application check for updates via a website and if their is one update automatically when the program starts. Is their a way were on the main user form i can make it so that the user can change the update site with out me building the program again with the new site. I want to do this becuase the site i use goes down alot so when i changed the update url no one was able to download the update for the new update server.

The app works fine in every detail when installed on the development computer. But, on the target computer when the command button is clicked an unhandled exception occurs which says: System.IO. This works fine on the development computer. Do I need a way to code this as a relative path? I'm being asked to maintain several internal-only web apps for my company. For testing, after making my changes, I've created some staging sites which make use of separate databases. As such, if my users were to mistakenly use this site as if it were the production site, they may enter important data and wonder where it "disappeared" to thinking it was the production server.

Shift 1 which is AM to PM is working fine, but PM to AM check is creating problems. This is because the second shift starts at 5.00 PM and ends on next day on 10.00am.
The user table structure is
