I have followed a tutorial on how to make a Picture viewer. I have a next and back button that read off a counter. I have a couple of questions on this.
1. If there is just one picture in a folder and you hit the next or back button, the application crashes, is there a way to disable these buttons if there is only one?
2. Every time I open a new folder, the contents get added onto the list to go through, is there a way to overwrite the old files so only the new folder shows?

I m making a "offline viewer" which uses saved webpages. I'm using a web browser and a tree-viewer. Is there a way to make the selected node in the tree viewer change if you click on a link in the web page (i.e if you select a link about The Gimp on tutorial 176, the selected node will change to The Gimp tree node)
I know about the code for changing the tree node selection, however what I'm having trouble with the web-browser side of it.
I have a Visual Basic.Net Windows Forms application to which I am considering adding the WebBrowser control. I'm assuming that the PC's on which this application will ultimately be deployed/installed will have the latest Windows (XP, Vista, or 7) updates, a firewall, and an Internet security suite installed/running.
With this deployment environment in mind, does the WebBrowser control make my application or the deployment PC vulnerable to any significant security risks? Are there any programming issues that should be addressed to eliminate potential security risks when using the WebBrowser control?

I am using Visual Basic/Visual Studio 2011 Beta I have a series of web sites I program webbrowser1 to navigate to. It is a simple program. The problem I am having is that the websites remember me from the last visit from my cookies(?). Even if I have webbrowser1 click on the logout link, the next time I visit that site I am still logged in! I want the webbrowser to arrive at the website each time as if for the first time ever there, with no record of anything on that site that was done before.

I use a webbrowser control in my VB.Net Program, and I want to delete all the cookies from the computer. How can I do that? And also how is it possible that I enter some site through my Internet Explorer, and it sets a cookie on my computer, and then I try to enter the same site through the webbrowser control in my program and it doesn't recognize that cookie? It uses the same browser, isn't it?
This question pertains to the use of the cookie-capable WebClient derived class presented in the How can I get the WebClient to use Cookies? I'd like to use a ListBox to...
1) display each cookie individually as "key=value" (the For Each loop displays all of them as one string), and
2) be able to display all cookies, regardless of the domain from which they came ("[URL]):
is there anyway that I could delete the cookies that my web browser stores when I visit a certain page. I don't want to delete all the cookies for internet explore, just the ones for my web browser
