Using vb.net, is it possible to have a list of values such as:
Green
Black
Blue
and the index to be a text value such as
Table
Desk
Chair
something like this

Trying to input a high setpoint, low setpoint, a % load, and number of compressors, then calculate the temp that all compressors are off. I am coding a program for a movie trivia game that randomly shows a movie quote and the the user selects a movie name from a combo box that matches. I used a array for the movie quotes and a comboBox for the movie names. I have coded a portion of the program but I am stuck on how to compare the array quote being shown to what movie the user selects from the comboBox. I have tried numerous different things but none seem to work right. The way I have it coded now it shows that every movie I pick that it is right even if it is wrong. I am going to show part of the code here and also attach the entire solution for anyone that needs it .

I have a program that will compare an array of grocery list items glist and an array of coupon item clist.When I compare the two and if there is a match somewhere in the array I want to have a picturebox visible.When there is no match, I want the picture box not to be visible. [code] The code seems to work great until I come to the else statement.When the code finds a match it displays the picture box and the msgbox without error, but as soon as the message box is cleared, even though i've input it as an ELSE statement, the picturebox goes false again.Does anyone have any idea of how I can "hold" the picturebox to stay visible while the match between the arrays exists?

Suppose you have list 1 (ilist1) and list 2 (ilist2) both lists have 3 items.
At index 0 item1 which has text "-- Select --"
At index 1 item2 which has text "Yes"
At index 2 item3 which has text "No"
Both lists have identical items. I would like to know if it is possible to have the selection of list one be "Yes" and the selection of list two be "No" and vice versa using SelectedIndexChanged or something of the sort.

in my algorithm I will find that I need to disregard values in column a which will then lead me to disregard values in column b. I initially thought that I may want to use three arrays and just change the disregarded value to a null value with each iteration. find function that would allow me to not have to loop through the entire array every time.This lead me to want to define the columns as lists where I could remove specific values from the list and reduce the size of the list with each iteration of the algorithm. The problem then is how do I say, listb.remove(8) and at the same time have the corresponding values for lista(1) and listc(12) removed?

I keep getting "Index was outside the bounds of the array." error when I run the exe from Debug and Release, but if I put my parameter -dev in a shortcut I do not get this error.Here is the code causing the problem

Under VB2 I could create a form with many charts (One form had 12 graphs). You could define the chart once and cut and paste it the required number of times on the form. Each chart had an index and the code used the index to create and update the desired chart with the appropriate x,y data. Is it possible to do this in VB2010?
