I have a treeview control that gets populated at runtime with a pyramid of employee names. I put the css scrollbar on the view by putting overflow: auto" in the tag where the treeview is located. I realize if could set up a function which checks the ItemHeight * Nodes.Count, and compares this to the control height. However, this seems clumsy. I have been exploring the object browser (and anylized TreeView with Reflector) and have not found what I am looking for. If there is a way to access the ScrollBar Property at ALL within TreeView, I have not found it.
So with the stock Textbox, I set the Scrollbars property to Vertical. This is great if the text in my box never changes; I can scroll up and down while the box sits still. If I'm running a background operation that logs output to the box though, the scrollbar resets itself to the top every time I append text to the box.
I know I can set the Textbox.Selection property (or use the Select method) to reposition the carat in the textbox, make note of that position in a variable, then append text, reset the carat, and use the ScrollToCarat method to reposition the scrollbar where it belongs. That's a really (ridiculously) long way around. Anybody know if there's another/better way of holding the scrollbar position, short of actually building a custom control (or using a Textbox and a separate Scrollbar)? It never hurts to try. In a worst case scenario, you'll learn from it.
I have a treeview with four levels; parent, child, grandchild, great-grandchild. My selectednode is at the grandchild level. I have this code to select first node of TreeView. But when page loads the by default root node is other than first, I want to set the selected node as top most by default. Here is my code in page load but it's not working:

I've checked with treenode.isselected() and treeview.selectednode() and with both two clicks is required to show the selected node (1 click continues showing the previously selected node as selected) while the visual highlight/selection works perfectly with 1 click. Any suggestions on what may be wrong/how it could be fixed? (The node selection code is in the nodeclick event)

Is there a way to have it still as dark blue. The reason being is because the user is clicking on a row in a grid and dropping it on the treeview and I need it to be clear that it will add it to the selected node which needs to be clear.

I have been playing with, and researching, this all day and can't figure it out. I have a Windows Explorer style form with a TreeView and a ListView. I've populated the TreeView with directories and when a node is selected, the ListView fills with the contents of the directory associated with that node. No problem there, but I want to be able to select a directory in the ListView and automatically select the associated node in the TreeView, just like it works in Windows Explorer. All the information I've found online tells me how to populate the ListView from the TreeView, but I haven't found any good examples of how to populate the TreeView from the ListView.

This is the form I'm having problems with. As you can see I've created a tab interface which is working. There are five text boxes on it which are binded to the Staff table in the database. When the tab is changed, the binding is changed to a new field. However, unfortunately, when a new record is selected, the data bindings do not update, and instead, the first record is always being used. We suspect the problem may be coming from the fact that there is code to unbind from the text box and rebind it again. This is the code I'm talking about...
