May 13, 2010I'm using DateTimePicker (format dd-mm-yyyy) for vb.net application. If I'm entering date using keyboard, I have to use 'right arrow' key to switch between date,month and year. I want to eliminate use of 'right arrow' key. i.e. if user enters day, cursor should move to month, and after entering month, cursor should move to year. (something like we've in dos base software) .

Now what this would involve doing is importing an image so the program understands it, then finding that image on your screen (maybe through RGB colors). How exactly do you do this? Mar 18, 2011I have this problem every so often in VS2010. What will happen is I'll be working along and run the program then stop debugging. When I get back to text editor to change something the cursor will be stuck. It won't let me move it with the arrow keys and I can't type anything in. I can move it with the mouse but when I do that I still can't type anything in at the new position. The only way to get this to go away is to close out VS2010 and restart it again.

Oct 17, 2009When it comes to threading. I've managed to adapt one of JMcIllhinney's backgroundworker codebank examples to somewhat suit my needs, but not completely. I have a main form, and a second form that appears while I'm running through a for loop. It informs the user what is currently happening. I set up a backgroundworker that allowed me to continue to use the main form during the for loop, but the other "status" form was completely frozen, and any labels or graphics were shown as white boxes. I am struggling to figure out how to be able to move/interact with both forms while the loop is running.

As you know the String.Empty value represents a zero length, or empty, string if the inputsales variable is empty, the loop condition evaluates to True and the computer process the loop instructions. *If on the other hand the inputsales variable is not empty, the loop condition evaluates to false and the computer skips over the loop instructions.
Based on the code I think it is the opposite: ...that while the inputsales value is not empty it should evaluate to true and process the loop and if it is empty it should evaluate to false and skip the loop?
