I have a gridview where I need to have column names within 1 sortable pageable gridview as the same name, but when I set up the sql query as
select x as 'col', y as 'col', z as 'col'
it shows up in the gridview with autogeneratecolumns on (theres a lot of columns in the page I don't feel like not autogenning it)
and it shows up as
col
col1
col2
in the gridview but I want it to just be col, col, and col. I understand that this could cause a sorting problem without turning autogenerate columns off, but I was hoping there was some type of work around.

I'm trying to get so that if I pick something from the first combo box it doesnt show up in the list for the 2nd box, etc. Also, I didnt want to just remove the item, incase the user changes their selection in a previous combobox. I have a question regarding the dataset usage in Reporting Services. I have a stored procedure which returns multiple select statements (result tables), and I created a Dataset in Reporting Services 2005 with this stored procedure. The problem is that I can not reference the second or third result table, and I can only use the first select statement fields. Is this the limitation on Reporting Services Dataset or is there a way to use multiple table results in one dataset?

I have a vb express 2010 program where users submit issues to different persons. The issue is emailed to teh selected persons and also saved in SQL on a server. Question is if they select multiple names from the list box to send the messsage to, how do I insert the multiple names into the SQL table? Here is the insert command I use. The problem I have is: when I have a station selected there are more than 1 trajecten (connections in English) but I had to use the .first else Visual Studio would give the error "the '=' operator is not defined for 'integers' and 'system.linq. IQueryable(of integer)".
So I give the name of a station -> I have to select all trajectens with the given station as beginstation -> I have to select all ritten which have the given trajecten -> I have to select all tickets which have the given ritten So: I have to show all tickets for a certain station.
