I use crystal reports, vb visual studio 2008 to print my reports. I read an Image from SQL (which is a barcode) and I want to print this bar code in Black & white. I been playing around with some code I found on internet and I am probably almost where I need to be. Using the printdocument I am able to get the active form in my project to print. That works fine. MY nextr issue was to get the form to print so that it is Black & white. No shading etc.. So I found a routine on internet that will take image and turn to B&W. Problem: IF a text box fields background color is too dark then the entire box shows up in black. If a text box field data is Selected it also is too dark and comes out white.her is code I found for turnign to B&W

My application offers some reporting facilities like sales report etc...I have generated the report by using the dataset option i.e. setting the dataset to be the source for the crystal report. I just want my application to print the report when the user clicks the "generate report" button on the Windows Form.

the reason for setting both is that otherwise the cursor will not always have the desired appearance. I know that cursors can be rendered in color, like 3D-Bronze, windows animated, hands and variations.
How does the CheckBox control draw that black check mark in the white box? I can't install .Net Reflector or anything here on my work machine so could someone post the code (vb.net or c# is fine with me)?

One is the ability to link tables with a Right Outer Join or Full Outer Join. I also cannot "Show SQL Query" in Crystal Reports. Is this something I can enable or do I have to purchase or upgrade?

View 2 RepliesI have a htpc project that I am working on. The main program loads dll plugins which are basically other win forms. On each of these forms, including the main program, I use a picturebox (a double buffered picturebox) for the background image and then draw everything on it by hand. Whenever I load the form from the dll and show it, I get a weird flicker. It looks like it is the previously used double buffer. Is there any way to clear the background double buffer before the flicker? Or am I going in the wrong direction?

View 1 RepliesI am working on Windows Forms Projects.I am creating a report for customers.The report data is pulled from a "CustomerDetails" table.A field in the table is called "CustPhotoName", this holds a string which relates to an image file.
I Currently have a report set up which runs for a single customer by passing in a customer ID. Then using the passed in ID to populate a Dataset with an ImageRow and then a sub report with the image from the dataset.
I am wanting to set up this report where I can pass in an array of customer IDs and produce the reports (1 page per customer with image (if CustPhotoName has value))
I have created reports using Crystal Reports in my asp.net application(vb). It was fine. But when I run it in another system, the report loading fails. So I modified my code like this.

When the control comes to the line:-

it jumps to the catch block showing "Invalid Report path". But initially, the code was not showing any error. I haven't changed the path.
I made a program in VB .net 2008 that has a form in which there is a Crystal Report Viewer object. Here is some code:

Some reports show tens and hundreds of thousands or records (they are required to do so, so no work-around is possible), thus the time it takes for the Crystal Report Viewer control to actually show the report is very long. I would like to display like a waiting dialog window WHILE the report is loading its records telling the user to wait for it to load.
2. Another idea would be to show the number of records currently loaded (and continuously updated as the report loads them) from the total number. This is actually shown in my reports when i open them with Crystal Reports 10, but NOT with the Viewer control on the form! How can i make it show this?
