May 10, 2012I am using IIS 5.1 on server 2000. I have set the asp.net page for custom error in IIS which is directing to C:InetpubwwwrootCustom_ ErrorIIS_Error.aspx. Custom error page appears when user keyin wrong password for 3 times.When i access the error page directly (for testing) from my laptop using following URL then i can see the page text and the text box.
//192.168.0.10/Custom_Error/IIS_Error.aspx
But when user keyin wrong password for 3 times, system shows the custom error page with text only and doesn't show the asp.net controls.Also, is there any way to show the local path from where the user has been redirected to the custom error page? For an example; we have got 10 folders under website called TestWeb, so when the user is accessing folder number (3) called webtest3 and custom error page should show webtest3 on the page.Can i do it either on asp.net or on asp classic page?

to be imported and each item in the line will be assigned to its own txt box. I have been able to load up the file, in to one txt box, but am unable to separate the items in to their own box. Should I be using arrays for this?

Jul 25, 2011Ok, so I'm making a program that will read from a text file, convert each line into an array, the. Send each of those lines 1 per tick. This is in 2010 Visual Basic. Closest I've gotten is sending all at once, I worked on it over night and am slowly destroying it. Ideally, I want Button 1 click to populate the array from the file at LocationTB then start the timer. The timer should send a line at a time on the GapTB interval.

Overwrite Visual Basic Label Text?
May 17, 2012I am reading a temperature value from a transceiver into the serial port and I want this value to change the value of a label in my Visual Basic Form. This value changes every few seconds. I am using the code below:
Me.dataReceived.Text &= [text]
where dataReceived is the label I am using and [text] is the data I am reading from the serial port. This results in the data being displayed but instead of overwriting the label, it writes the value after each other. (The data is appended). I tried to remove the & before the = but this did not work as nothing showed up.?The code I am using is the following:

Apr 7, 2012I have a web page that has a few text fields, and a reset and submit button. I'm having trouble getting the reset button to work to clear the text fields because the required field validators and regular expression validators are blocking any code in the reset button's click event from occurring. how to get the validators to not activate when the reset button is clicked? One method I tried was to set the enabled property of all the validators to false in the reset button's code block but no luck.

Jan 20, 2010I've seen posts on deleting the lines from a text file that are specified as a function parameter, but I only need to delete the first and last lines from the file.
I'm still a newbie when it comes to working in files, but it seems that it should be simple to delete the first line... Just delete all text from BOF to the first CrLf character. Am I right?
As for the last line, I understand that I'll have to get a count of the lines in the text file to find it (as the file won't always be x amount of lines long).
