Jun 27, 20101. How to make content in a label scroll horizontally from the right to the left? And I want it to loop nonstop so that it can keep scrolling once and once again nonstop.
2. For example, my label is multi-lined and has line A and B. What about if I want:
Line A scroll from the bottom to the top -> Line A pauses for 10 seconds(for users to read it)-> after that line A dissapears itself -> line B scrolls up -> Line B pauses for 10 seconds(for users to read it)-> after that line B dissapears itself-> (back to the first step)
*Same, I want it to loop for unlimited times.

Apr 5, 2009I am using a label to display a song for an mp3 player. I wanted to scroll the text inside the label for anything that is longer than the label width. I figured out the width of the label and if the width of the text inside the label is longer. But I have no idea how to turn this into subtracting parts/pixels of the text currently displayed and how to append the subtracted parts to the end of the new text.

I am basically making a quiz, so that when the form loads, question 1 is on there is 4 possible answers. You then press next button and it goes to the next question.

Mar 22, 2012I have a wrapper class created around TextBox, and I want to find out if there is any way to test if the vertical scroll bar is at the beginning (the very top) of the text box and at the very end of the text box.Alternatively, I will be happy if only I can find out a way to check if a scroll bar is enabled or not in a textbox (note: it's not a RichTextbox).
By enabled, I mean that scroll bar is actually enabled i.e. you can use the scroll bar to scroll the control, not just visible (I know we can check visibility by GetWindowLong)
Display Records Horizontally ASP.NET MVC
Mar 29, 2011Essentially, what I'm trying to do is build a table of data dynamically on a page that is 3 columns wide by however many long.Working off a Classic ASP example, I've gotten as far as trying that, but not all the records display and they still render on the page as rows instead of columns.[code]I'm not overly certain how to do it, and I'm fairly sure it's probably really simple to do on a view page.My other option is to set a finite amount of records to be created and build the table on the page from that, but I'd much rather do it dynamically.I guess also an alternative option would be to use a repeater control? Though I don't know if this is a control that will work with MVC.

Mar 24, 2010I'm creating a program that creates icons starting at images using vb.net in VS 2008.I wish I could rotate an image displayed in a PictureBox horizontally.The intention is to leave as Windows Vista /7 is the view of putting a folder of image files in this folder within a folder.It (the image) is rotated just a bit not totally aware of the front screen.With a program only had managed to do this with Word 2007, using the new "3D Rotation".But I have to do with VB.Net code.I have looked something about using Google, but found nothing useful.

Nov 11, 2011Is there any way to detect if the text in a label is longer than the label itself (assuming autosize is set to false)? I want to trim the text in a label so the last line is a finished sentence (everything after that sentence is removed). I hope you understand what I mean.

Well, if I use AppendText() it does something like this, but if you scroll up, then each time you receive a message you will be scrolled all the way down.
Is there a way to make it scroll all the way down if I am scrolled at the bottom? Meaning, it would check the textbox where its scrolled at, then it would if scrolled to the bottom, and the text and scroll down, otherwise, it would just add the text.
2.Is there a way to make the mouse scroller scroll the textbox? currently it onlt does so when the textbox is the active control on the form, but can I make it always scroll it when the mouse is placed over the control, like it seems to do in MSN when you have a chat open for someone and you are typing a message, you can scroll at the same time without moving focus to the top part where the text is displayed.

The problem is that this works perfectly if I use the left and right arrows and it also works perfectly if I use the scroll bar's slider SLOWLY. If I scroll using the slider and move it quickly then the scroll gets out of sync.The small change and large change are both set to 1 and maximum is set to 8

Jul 2, 2010During my program I put lines out to a text box on the screen as a form of logs.After each line is added I do a ScrollToCaret() to move to the end of the lines.However, if I'm manually scrolling around the logs/lines (eg: using the scroll bar) I don't want to that.
Is there something I can check so as not it issue the ScrollToCaret() if the user if currently scrolling around in the text box?

Nov 7, 2010My rich text box overflows with output during execution, thus activating a vertical scroll bar. When the program ends the created text box information disappears.I have tried a message box prior to exiting the program to stop execution but then nothing responds until the message box is A instruction doesn�t accomplish my goal either. I see nothing in the text box properties window which looks like it would do the trick and no luck with Googling for info so far.
