Searching For A Word In A Text File Returns The Word And The Sentence Plus A Bunch Of Other Weird Characters?

I can search for the word Love in an .rtf file and return every occurance of the word into a RichTextBox. It returns the word and the scripture the word is in, but it also isreturning a bunch of weird text like: archan78988yykp etc etc. How do I onlyreturn the scripture with the searchedword, in this case the searched word is love. The code I am using is as follows:

I have a Visual Basic Program that I am trying to create for a college course. I have a few problems at this point.When the text from the string is added to the word box on the right, when it reads the text file it puts the last word of each sentence and the first word in the next sentence together and creates one word.I don't understand how in the loop i can keep track of instances of words and count them in array.Then display the words in the word box on the right with a - and then number of instances found.

My app is a Bible Reader. At load up I can choose Genesis Ch1 and its entirety pops into a rtb. I enter a word to search for like 'God' and hit the SEARCH button. The results I get are initially what I want. I get the verse 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. But then the app replaces the script with other words containing God, but all jumbled up. The following code allows words to be added to a listbox. Add the word to a text file and create a folder with the word as its name. The second part undoes the actions.If I try to delete the word immediately after adding it one of two things happen.
1.An error is reported stating the path cannot be found. Although the listbox index value is correct according to the code the error is pointing at that index +1.
2.The code continues to the point of requesting conformation to delete the folder, still pointing at the index value +1. I the action is confirmed the wrong folder is deleted.
However if I stop debugging, then run the code again all works correctly.Is it likely to persist when the application is compiled?

I want to create a regex to find words which have capital words in between them. Can anyone please tell me how to find it?For example: I went to a school forEducation and then didn't study.I want words like forEducation. I think we use [a-z][A-Z] to find all alphabets but can't really find it. I am thinking along the lines of merging the above two options, but then how is it going to check for capital alphabets? Also I wouldn't want to select any words which have capital letters in the start, because they are valid.Reason : This is occurring because of scraping text from online websites and they have no proper formatting. I get these words as text and want to replace them.

I have a label that is supposed to display a word for 5 seconds and then move down the list in a text file and display the next word.I'm oddly able to make it work in random mode, but not going down the list in order.. random would be ok if used words didn't come up again.

Now, when I say "word check" I don't actually mean spell check or something like that, I just couldn't find a good 1 or 2 words explanation. (I use Visual Basic 2010). How would you replace a certain word from input to output? Like, if you type "Tigers are cool" in a text box I want the ouput after a button click to be "Lions are cool", changing 'tiger' to 'lion'. It should also be case sensitive so Tiger would convert to Lion, not lion.

Program works good, it is mixing characters good, but it doesn't write text to the file. It will write text in console, but not in file. Note: Program is working only with words that are divisible by 2, but it's not a problem. Also, it does not return any error message.

Is there a simple method to tell whether a certain word is present in the webbrowser (not the source, but the visual stuff).
I can't use the source because it takes too much time to load when it's a rather large site page. And I believe I can't use instr on webbrowser1.HtmlDocument.
Who can point me in the right direction, I didn't find any solution myself with google. I only need to know if for example the word 'New' is present on this page, so a True or False must be returned

I have a excel report with one sheet called "Export Report". I then add 4 more sheets and rename them accordingly.
I then need to search in "Export Report" in column A, but unknown row for the word 'Definitions' and then once found I have to copy 'Definitions' and 10 rows belows it, to the sheet called "Definitions"
How can I achieve this? At the moment I am stuck at the point of finding the word 'Definitions'. I get error Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A9C64 at this line:

I have it so a user can search any book of the bible for a word and retirn its every instance (highlighted in yellow). The problem is: The app keeps searching the book over and over and over for minutes, before it finally stops. It is like it is taking many search passes through the Book, instead of just one good pass.

So I found some code that I am customizing for my needs. So far I get it to browse for a Word file, open that file, and create XML from that document - right now it maps word styles to tags. So, if I had the word "Test" in the document, and it was bold, the output would be <b>Test</b>. Does anyone know of a good function for finding key words in a Word Doc, and then putting that into a tag?
