May 25, 2009I have created a program using inpout32.dll to run my stepper motor . I can run stepper motor now but the problem is that it is running very slow! is there any better way i can run my motor fast as i want.
i used following method.

if i set the value of mytime less then 2000 my motor does'nt work at all. i tried also with the timer tool and i wrote the code in the tick event of timer but it is also very slow.

Nov 30, 2009I am working on a project to use a stepper motor to pull film and then stop and take a photo of the frame. I have a stepper Bee controller and motor and everything works fine with there gui interface tool. Now what I am looking at is making a VB script that I can control the motor. They provide a dll file for the stepper controller and lots of doc data but is confusing to me since never used VB scripting. I have Visual Studio 10 installed and not sure if that is what i need. So here goes. It requires this at the beginning.

Analyze An Excel Document With Coordinates For A Robot?
Jun 28, 2011This program is being used to analyze an excel document with coordinates for a robot. The entire program works...My boss indicated he wanted me to throw an exception in whenever a coordinate that wasn't being given a tolerance wasn't supposed to move, he wanted the program to give an error message. Which I figured out and outputs a message box saying "Result Compare Fail!"
Now here is my dilemma..whenever I encounter a section in the excel sheet analyzing multiple variables, I still get the error message, because the program doesn't think of it as multiple variable coordinates changing. Is there an easy way to fix this? I'm stumped! This is one of the cases, but they are all very similar.

Added A StatusStrip Control, Made Some Changes To Adding Items And Changed The Names?
May 12, 2011In the windows form designer, I added a StatusStrip control, made some changes to adding items and changed the names of the items to names I would recognize, for instance I changed "ToolStripStatusLabel3" to "lblMode". All was fine until I inadvertenly deleted the StatusStrip. Now when I add it back to the form and try to change the name I get an error saying that the name "lblMode" is already in use. And sure enough it is listed in the items of the properties window, but not dislayed anywhere.
I am not sure how to resolve this. I know there is a window, I think its called "Project Designer" or something similar that is code where controls get added but I CANNOT find this window to view the code.

Jun 6, 2011i am working on a app. and i need to know how can i share floders that the app will use to save flies over the net. i was thinking about crearting a data base that would save all the files on to it , and then share the data base with fellow co workers, but i do not know how to add a excel file or word doc. in the database. i am pretty new to all of this so any help would be great. the app is writen in visual studio 2010.
basical it will let the user access the file he needs to compelte his work off shore. the files are created and saved as he needs them. once he is finished, i need the app to send the floder to some type of server ( dont have a server yet) so that the office and other co workers can see the files when they run the app.

Apr 23, 2010My problem relates to executing an application located on a network share and getting various security exceptions in trying to do so. By far the greatest number of replies to this sort of problem relate to creating a new Code Group under Runtime Security Policy in the .NET Framework (v2 in this case) Configuration tool. However try as I might, and I've spent hours, trying various things with the config tool (and with caspol), I just cannot get my app to work.Still fails on things like reading command-line parameters and displaying a web page in a WebBrowser control or firing up a browser using Process.Start. In fact I've regressed to creating a VB6 version for this particular task as time is off the essence. Which works fine! As I mentioned lots of people have posted on this topic and not s few of them seem not to have resolved their issues either. So I was wondering if anyway had come up with a definitive solution for this problem which, in my case, seems to affect XP machines only? Seems to work OK on Vista, 7, 2003 Server, etc - although I haven't run exhaustive tests in these environments.

I went through all my code and replaced the old path info to the new path. Tried to publish and received errors stating my temporary key was no longer valid. I will share it so I'd like to have just one "setup" file which creates the another necessary files. (or just one bigger file?) but the main thing is that I dont want to start share 4-5 files...
I get it worked on my computer, that's not a problem. But then I upploaded all of the files (4-5) to mediafire, destroyed program from my computer and downloaded those files: Program didnt worked: Sayd just "U havent downloaded all necessary files" (something like that).
Well I think it's possible also to publish to new wep site. In fact I tryed to make wep site (with www.nettisivu.org ) (finnish quite good wep-page-creater) but the same result: no results at all. If this is the easier way, how I could upload my program straight to that site?
