Traversing - If Press Move First Should Get First Element
Oct 12, 2010
I need to traverse in VB.Net I have 4 command buttons namely Move First, Previous, Next and Last. I m using MS Access as my6 back end. If i press move first i should get first element If i press move previous i should get prev element If i press move last i should get last element If i press move next i should get next element
I am working on a game in vb.net which is designed to ask the user a set of questions which are stored in multidimensional arrays. the user can answer the questions by clicking one of four buttons.
I currently have a set of buttons numbered 1-4, I also have a set of arrays but I am stuck making the game move on to the next set of questions.
I want to use enter key to move to next column.I'm using datagridview1_keyup and datagridview1_currentcelldirtystatechanged events. So far i'he succeeded in getting my primary objective,to move to next column. But now the problem i'm facing is that when during the data enetry in a cell, the length of value of current cell does exceed one character, the new character replaces the previous.
I am using an input box. In tat am getting the number as input. When the user presses OK the program is workin. But when I press the cancel button am getting a error message
" Conversion from String "" to 'Integer' type is not valid "
If i press cancel I need the program to end. and also i want to know how to move to other form when i press cancel in input box
I am working on a simple program which requires me to be able to select a picture box and move it to a new location by dragging it with my mouse. This is all the relevant code I have come up with currently. however, when I run the program it tries to move to where I want it to go then it seems to revert back to its previous location.
I need to loop through a gridview to then compare it to my database.this is what i have now:
Dim rows As Integer = gwResults.Rows.Count() For Each row As GridViewRow In gwResults.Rows 'move through rows and check data in each row against the dataset cSource.GetDetails(Convert.ToInt32(row.Cells(1).Text)) Next
is it possible to get gridview values in each column by calling them by a name, instead of index? so maybe have something like cells("userID") instead of cells(5)i have many columns, and indexes could get really confusing.
The xml document is like so: ... I would like to use XPath to Navigate but I am not sure where to get started. Can anyone point me to some examples of traversing the nodes? I have the first part figured out but not sure how to iterate through all l1,l2,l3,l1 nodes...
I have a number of rewrite rules for a lot of things that I did in IIS7, like removing trailing slashes, canonnical URLs, lowercase lettering, and such. IIS altered my web.config, and everything works fine on the website, like it should. But in the Visual Studio web.config, the opening < rewrite > statement is underlined in blue, and at the bottom of VS, it says that the element 'system.webServer' has invalid child element 'rewrite'. But this is how IIS made it. I didn't do this manually. Should I be concerned with this VS error, or should I just leave as be, since it's working how it should work? Here's an example of my web.config:
Is there a way to control the way a browser behaves such as if I click on this link it doesn't navigate to that link but instead show me the source code behind that button?

So my only problem is I need a way to check every x seconds for the element and then if its there proceed with my code and if its not wait and then check again or however this is done in VB.If this is not the way its done please point me in the right direction the code I am using to find and then navigate to the link is
Dim emailpageelements As HtmlElementCollection = WebBrowser2.Document.GetElementsByTagName("a") For Each emailver As HtmlElement In emailpageelements If InStr(emailver.InnerHtml, "https://twitter.com/account/confirm_email/") Then WebBrowser1.Navigate(emailver.InnerText)
I want to be able to reference an element in an array of structures by the name of the element in a visual basic 2010 function. For example
Public Structure myStruct Public element1 as string Public element2 as integer Public element3 as boolean
[code]...
Is it possible to reference a structures element by the element's name in a similar way to that shown above. The code shown above does not work, as the expression obj(i).[elementName] does not work as hoped.
I would like the following function to return Nothing if the element with the specified key is not in the collection. Instead, it returns an error - something to the effect of "no element found"

I'm creating a shooting game for my programming class' final project and I want the user to have to press "R" on the keyboard to reset their ammo back to 12. Here is like what I have so far[code]...
I've Dimmed intAmmunition globally so that it applies to all sub procedures. When I debug the game, the ammo goes down by one for every time I shoot (click) and when intAmmunition <= 0 all targets are disabled. I press the R button and they become enabled again, but then the label continues to drop from 0 to - 1 and so on.
