Use Treeview To Edit Contextmenu Items?
Oct 17, 2009I need to know how it would be possible to arrange items in a context menu the same as the node in a treeview is arranged with the same text and everything.

Datagridview ContextMenu In Edit Mode?
Sep 3, 2009When the cell is selected but not open for editing a right click will open the ContextMenu. If the cell is open in edit mode a differnt list is displayed (cut, copy, paste, etc.). Is there a way to append the ContextMenu to this menu or turn that menu off and use the ContextMenu?

Way To 'scroll' Through Items In A ContextMenu
Jan 30, 2010I'm wanting to add a menu to my project that is going to be dual controllable (touch screen and physical buttons). For when it is being used with only buttons, i need a way to 'scroll' through the items in a ContextMenu. I've tried using SendKeys to send up and down keys but this did nothing and i've also tried using 'GetNextItem' but this also did nothing.

Nov 11, 2009I have a form with contextmenu where you can get the menu items on shockwave. I uses the menu items event to get the method of working when clicking them on shockwave by using right-mouse button. When I debug the project and when I clicked on testmenu item event, nothing have happens.

Can't Edit ListView Items
Jun 4, 2011I have a small application. When I click on a ListView row to Edit the details populated from the MS Access DB, I have the Else statement being executed all the time. Initially the code is attached behind a button named Edit. I have a Refresh button also which is clicked before the Edit button is clicked. Thus I just don't want to click on the OK button on the message box generated from the Else part. I just want to switch the Edit option between the ListView data when the ListView is item is clicked.[code]...

Sep 28, 2010I am trying to sort a treeview, base nodes, which is the first base set you see before you click any + sign's I am trying to sort by alphabetical order, but, for the nodes inside each + view of the tree's I want to sort by number order, the number is currently set to the tag as text version of the number. Anyways, for the nodes in the + view's I need it to be able to skip over numbers if not every number in sequential order is there, so if number 4 is missing for example, still sort 1,2,3,5,6. My full code is pretty big but just retrieving items to display is random & I just add items as they come in, now they don't come fast or even when your not expecting new things to appear so it should not matter how it works really as it wont be updating as they are using the treeview.

Using Webbrowser To Automate Selecting Items From A Treeview?
Jun 3, 2012Using Webbrowser, I've managed to automate PDF downloads for several of the websites used by our company. I'm still a beginner at this process.Many of our PDF downloads, however, are from a Wells Fargo service called Wholesale Lockbox Image. The problem is that this Wells Fargo site expects the user to select items from a treeview as part of his query criteria. I don't know how to make Webbrowser select these treeview nodes programmatically.
Although I don't know anything about Java, the treeview is definitely a Java control. I know this for several reasons.(1) The instructions on the website specifically state that the the treeview won't draw until Java is installed.
(2) A standard Java splashcreen appears in the little treeview pane until the treeview actually begins to draw. The HTML code has an <OBJECT> tag which includes this attribute: ARCHIVE = "JWLTreeView2.jar"
Using Microsoft's mshtml library, I've tried looping through the elements on the page but can't find anything corresponding to the nodes in the treeview. I've also tried applying EnumChildWindows to the IE window, but here too I found nothing specific to the nodes. When I hover Spy++ over the treeview pane, it only identifies the pane as a whole, not the individual nodes.Furthermore, even when I select the nodes using my mouse, I don't seem to detect any corresponding alteration of the Webbrowser's HTML document (unless I overlooked it somehow).Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make Webbrowser select the treeview nodes programmatically?Oddly, I noticed that if the user saves the webbpage to his harddrive and then loads it into his browser from there, he can still see the treeview and select items (even without logging in to Wells Fargo), although if I bring the page home, the treeview is gone. I guess this means that IE is storing/caching the java file somewhere on the company machine, although I don't know if this fact would help solve my problem...

Jul 14, 2011Using Visual Basic in Visual Studio 2008, I have created a Windows form with multiple tabs and questions. Each question has an associated drop-down listbox that the user will eventually click on to enter his or her response. My client has now informed me that she wants to change the standard responses in each response box. There are well over 100 drop-down listboxes, all with the same items, and they all must be changed.
I originally inputted the items using design view. Would someone please tell me if it's possible to edit all of these boxes in the design view simultaneously? When I control + click on more than one box, the Edit Items option that is normally available disappears. Is there a way to do it in code in a manner that would save back into design view?

I clone the information to the empty listview2 from populated listview1 adding quantity via a numeric up/down. That works to a certain extent but problem is it adds another instance of the added item each time I press buy. I would like the items to appear in listview2 according to their index value in listview1. And when I press buy the app change only the quantity in column 2 if the item is already in listview2, if not just add the new item.

May 29, 2011I have an application that saves details to then be viewed in a datagridview on another form. Clicking on an entry in the datagrid (I want to make this double-click, but haven't bothered to try yet) highlights the row, and loads the values to a new form, in read-only text boxes. Clicking Edit changes the read-only value of these text boxes and allows you to edit (obviously) the contents. I have another button, Save which I want to click to commit the changes to the loaded items in the datagrid.
