I would like your advice on the following:I'm making a program in which a client can send an SMTP mail and stores the date, name and subject into an xml file. This works perfectly.Also made a form in which the client can view the send items, this form reads the xml file and places the data in a datagridview. This also works

I have a tree view in my project with a parent node and with theoretically speaking infinite child nodes.
Now I want to delete the last child node from the tree view when the user presses a certain button. I thought I could do this trick with this code:

In the following code when the Element ("title2") is deleted the Attribute(("TEST") on another node doesn't get delete. If you remove the xnode1.RemoveChild(xNode2) (that deletes the element) the attribute does gets deleted. why I can't delete the attribute when I delete the element on another node?

am Working on VB.NET 08 Windows Appl. Present i am Working on the DataGridViewCombobox Column. When i click the Combobox ,Clear the Items Which are having the Combobox and add New Items Manually.
For Example: In the Load Event For each Combobox cells Having a,b,c Items. But When i Click the Combobox cell in the DataGridView the Items (a,b,c) delete and Add new Items X,Y,Z .
How can i delete and add new items when click on the Combobox cell in the DataGridView??

I have a vb.net form to add, modify or delete the product list..i have a datagridview in which i m loading data from sql server datatable...now i have a text box which accepts code for the product..i want that when i press a key, all data starting with that key should be highlighted in datagridview.....
eg
i have product codes

D001,, etc..
Now i press A in text box...in datagridview all data with A should be highlighted

I am currently trying to read an XML file and display the information within a Datagridview. I currently have this working using the below

Basically what I want to be able to do is for each <ADVERT> node, so in this case there would be two, I can get the information from both the TITLE and NAME attributes and add them into the Data table which then gets displayed within the data grid view. Currently I can only get the TITLE attribute values to show?

How would i delete only the successful inserted rows for insert and then move the non successful rows up and allow the user to correct the data and get it ready for an insert. If i dont delete the successful rows then i will have multiple inserts of the same dataRow and we dont want that! AND if i dont move the data up then it will have blank rows uptop and will end the try and not insert the corrected data. You can better see what logic i am trying to perform at the bottom of my code, right after I insert into the database. Here is my code.

i have a treeview which has a bunch of parent and child nodes preset at design time, there is 1 parent node tho which is called developer, that i want to add child nodes to at runtime.When the form first loads im trying to have it check a text file and for each line in the text file add the text/string from that as a child node tot he 'developer' parent node.

I have a treeview which have a listimage. And it has imageselectindex property (image is yellow ball)My problem is : When i click any node, the image of that node shows imageselectindex . I only want thirth child node will show it. I dont want when i click at first node (rootnode) or child of roodnode , the yellow ballon shows.

Finding the level of the particular xml using a node value in .Net Experts ! This is my sample Xml.This is a tree structure and T->T.1,T.2->T.2.2,TA->TA.1 - this is the tree strucutre. I know the value of tag . ie 1232,1343.. etc.Using this ID how can I find that 1343 is coming under 1232. or 1490 is under 1090 which is again under 1232.Expected output : if i pass 1490 then I need to know 1490,1090,1232 etc (from that nodeto the top node).I am using .net 2.0

I'm new to VB and using a datagridview for the first time. I've spent the last 2-3 days trying to get row deletion to work and can't do it. I've tried every piece of code I can find on the internets, and none of them are doing it.I have the selection mode set for full row, with a delete button on the form. Clicking it will delete the row from the DGV, but the changes are not going back to the database. Here is the code I'm using right now in my delete button event handler:
