VS 2008 - Select Surname From ListBox And Load Address?

It works like this: I select a surname from a listbox, this loads their address & eye test results. (Loads into text boxes). I then click order. (Loads a new form *orderform.vb*). Now I can enter information into 4 text boxes... I would like the surname, address & results to get sent to a letter, and then the new information from the text boxes to get sent to a letter... (.doc or .txt). But it has to get sent to a specific part of a pre-written letter...

I've built a contact book in vb08. I've created the database in ms access 2007. I connect in and show the data and drag it to my form it works 100%. I can add and delete entries everything but how do i add a search by surname option to the form?

I'm trying to programmatically select the first node loaded into a treeview.
There are 4 main branches - that each node is added to

I tried creating an NDESELECT object to "remember" the node - then tried the old boolean first/loop trick - but it's not remembering that SELECTEDNODE. Seems that the NDE object is just a node object - maybe not "smart" enough to know where it got loaded??

I have in my form: button, listbox and picturebox. I want from the folder with images to enter the names of all images in the list box and then I want the picturebox to show only one selected image from listbox. First part works well but when I select one image in listbox nothing happens.
Where is the error?

Im trying to effectively, Save a listviews items to A database (after clearing it) then load it all back in to the listbox, would this do it? becuase it just doubles what ever is in the listbox @ the time,

I'm trying to use the DHCP API (using the references on pinvoke.net) to retrieve a computer's MAC address when given the IP address but I can't get the code to work. I've run all the C# code on pinvoke.net through the C#-to-VB converter but I'm stuck now.
Here's what I have so far. The value of res is always 5 (should be 0). Thing is, I can't find any documentation on what the return codes mean

I have a question here.. pls kindly advise.I need to design a simple form that allow user to choose the value from Listbox A to Listbox B. For example, in Listbox A, have value A, value B and value C, then user can choose (or highlight value B and value C) and copy into the listbox B.

1. Can I include a database in an exe file? - I am trying to create a small launcher application which contain 10-20 IP addresses with name, addresses, phone and email for people I help out on a regular basis. I would prefer if I could have the DB containing this info included in my launcher app, so I could carry it around on a USB stick.
2. How do I get mstsc.exe (remote desktop) to launch with an IP address from my DB above?- In my small app I am trying to add a launch button for each person. So if I am helping "person1", then I click the button next to him, and it launches my remote desktop of PC Anywhere to his IP address....
My initial thought was to use an ini file with my exe file, and modify the ini file with data through the app, but I want to be sure that there is no way I can include this information in the exe file.As I want to be able to change the connection information through my app interface I reckon I am forced to use either a SQL DB or some sort of file DB right?

3. Add a Label (No need to name or set anything).
4. Add two buttons (Again, No need to name or set anything).

In my VB.Net app, I want to read in a load of addresses from a database and then use word to create address labels on an Avery template L7163 which is then printed to the printer.
However, I have two issues:
1. Before word prints, I'm asked to select the printer etc. not exactly the nice automated application I was looking for.
2. Even though I get a nice printed out doc I was looking for, I also get a nasty looking error at the end which "loops" until I close my app -2147417848: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800010108(RPC_E_DISCONNECTED))

I'm trying to get this form to display in the listbox the address from the info from the textboxes and it works except one problem, it displays all on one line. I have a checked listbox which is populated with names(firstname & Surname), I also have a form that has been designed (layoutwise but with no code) to be populated with personal info such as name address,postcode,email address, sql database defined in the program that has a table called members that has the same column headings as the members form.
What i am trying to figure out is how i can commit personal information on my form to that database and copy the firstname and surname from that form to the checklist box if they dont exist? how do i go about this codewise?

I would like to display my splash screen for a set amount of time (5 seconds). While the splash screen is displayed, I added code to the load function to determine which form to load next. I have the splash screen selected in the Application Properties settings. I also have to select a "Startup form:" in the Application Properties settings.
I'm having a couple of problems. First, the form selected in the "Startup form:" is loaded and displayed along with the splash screen.Next, the form I select in the splash screen load is not started. Only the "Startup form:" is loaded.
