I have set a splash screen form as the application splash screen in VB.net 2008 I have set a form login as the start object. On load event it executes inital process. It runs fine except when the form login, during executing inital process, must be display a modal form, a messagebox, etc. because these are displayed behind the splash screen. How I can do it to show the msgbox, form dialog at the front?

I have created a project that shows a splash screen first and then shows the main form once the main form has been fully loaded. I only want to show my splash screen once the main form has completely loaded in the background. My main form by itself takes like 3 seconds to load, so I would like to display the splash screen for about 3 seconds and then show the main form because the main form will then be fully loaded, but instead it shows the splash screen for 3 seconds and then the main form still has to load anyway.How can I load the main form in the background and then show it when it is fully loaded?

there are two entries in the database. the first username and password are bagstoper and 1a2b3c4 the second is bagstoper2 and 1a2b3c4d. when i test it with the first username and password it works but when i try the second it doesnt work.
I've made a basic loginform in VS 2005 for anyone to use (Continued from the VS 2003 version), here's the zip file containing the form, feel free to use & modify it freely ... you dont even need to tell me about it How it works:Make an instance of it then you can set the properties UserId, Password, UserIdMaxLength and PasswordMaxLength then just call the the ShowDialog method.I've provided some other ShowDialog signatures that allows those properties to be set with only 1 ShowDialog call..When the Login button is clicked on the window you can retrieve the UserID and Password from their respective properties..This works with the DialogResult object as well so you can easily check to see if the cancel button was clicked or not.[code]

I have created an application that I am using the VB webrowser control. The users needs to login to a site to display a particular webpage. The sites login is in a popup and what appears to be happening is the popup is launching outside my application (has IE in the title). If I enter uers/pass and try to login the information is not being passed back to my webrowser form.

Basically, it works improperly when try to log in on one web-site (Forex Trading Social Network | Online Forex Trading Forum and Social Networking Site). I am working with Visual Studio 2010 Professional. I created a simple WebBrowser trying to access the indicated web-site. The problem begins. Well, the website loads, but when you go to the login page (Forex Trading Social Network | Online Forex Trading Forum and Social Networking Site) and try to log in, it doesn't work. I mean, when I enter the login details the login page just refreshes itself and the login wasn't proceed. The same login page appear with every login attempt.
