VS 2010 Quote Calculation Program With VB?

I am making a quote calculation program with Visual Basic. Per quote there can be multiple parts/products.
What I want now:
1) insert productinformation (dimensions, quantity etc.) in one form
2) write this data into a table or something
The program then needs to calculate prices etc. but first it is important to get the data right for the calculation.
What I am thinking of myself is putting the data into textboxes and then let this data be transported to a table and have one product per line in that table. from this it can be calculated

I want this so that users can select a customer in the "quote screen" and all other data will be filled in automatically. I also want that users

I have a CSV file where the values are in double quotes and seperated by a comma. I'm getting incorrect data if I try to seperate the string with my Split function. How do I do it?

I just need help with my Pizza Program in calculations. It keeps on adding on top of the original calculations. I did try to set the variables to 0, but that really didn't work out since the price that is shown turns out to be 0.

I am having trouble with a program for the calculation of bicycle gears. you are required to enter the wheel radius the the teeth on the front sprocket followed by the teeth on the rear sprocket. On the first entry of the rear sprocket number, the program will calculate the effictive radiusand display it in a label. If there are subsequent entries of sizes for the rear sprocket then the effective radius is calculated as before as well as the ratio between the current and previous radius.

I am trying to speed this calculation up because I need it to run every time a textbox or a checkbox is changed within the program. My issue is that it runs so slow that there is a lag between changing the text or checking a checkbox and the actual completed calculation.

I was thinking of using a datagrid for calculation. Lets say I want to order several items from a supplier. I just fill up the details row by row, insert the quantity and the price for each. For each row, there will be a subtotal (multiplying quantity by price) and the end it should give the total. Can we achieve using data grid or is there another way to proceed?

I am a newby with VS and I am busy creating a golf scoring program. I am struggling with calculating the actual handicaps. I know the formula to do the calculation. I just do not know how to implement it in VS. I have a access database that has all the info. I have score, golfers and golf courses tables. I am trying to use my scores table to do this.The columns I will be using is Golfers, Score, differentials an Handicap to do my calculation.
I need to be able to use the last 20 scores input for each golfer and out of those I need to use the best 10 scores out of the 20 for each golfer. The formula is as follows if done manually : get the average of best 10 scores and multiply it by 0.96, the result is your handicap rounded to no decimal. Do I do this in access with queries or in VS?

I have a program that I wrote in vb 2010 that keeps track of employee times in a database. It figures hours worked based on a range of dates selected using two DateTimePickers.I have it successfully working at this point to figure hours worked per day in the range for it's current practical use. But I was wanting to extend it so that it would handle over night shifts properly in case they did ever occur.Right now my code looks like this and it works for my current application:

I have DataTable, and is bound to DataGridView. So, when the user inputs some values in 4 columns, it would calculate the sum and put it in the last 2nd last column.

With a Time value in my program. Basically, I am importing a travel Time from a database e.g. 3:45 so it takes 3 hrs and 45 minutes to get from a to b. I then want to double this - 3:45 * 2 = 7:30, and then want to multiply it by a cost e.g. travel is charged at 25 per hour. so it would be total travel time = 7:30. Travel cost = 25. Total Travel Cost = 7:30 * 25. In the access db, it is stored as a text field, and then imported in vb as a string.

I am new to creating websites for people on a money-earning basis.. I created my Dads website for my final year project, and he will pay me eventually but obviously I cant charge him as much as anyone else.I have just been to a trade show where I picked up 1 definite and 2 possible sites to do. They already have the hosting sorted out, so no need to worry about that in the quote. I am planning on using .net and SQL Server, if this makes any difference.Basically what I would like is to get some quotes for what other people would charge if they were given the task.

I have a problem that seems trivial. In an argument to an activity I need to supply a path.
This is done by this code:

However, the directories parameters contain spaces so they have to have quotes around them. I tried with single quote ' that works fine to put in the string, but the command shell executing the command ignores these. So it has to be double quote "
I have tried all methods I have fount on the Internet, for example to have a backslash before the double quote and to have three double quotes, but nothing seems to work. I get a compiler error as below.

I have this block of code that sets up my sql parameters for a stored proc that does an insert.

I've tested the stored proc in SSMS and it works.The problem is when I try to call it from the application. it fails. the @@rowcount = -1. I've tried returning an error code from the db... no dice. keeps coming back as -1 what is going to get executed looks like this
