My initial attempt was to wrap up each call to the SPs like this example:

View 3 RepliesThis is not a homework of mine and i had never tried ms access database with vb so i just gave it a shot. so this is my first time and i am just trying not asking anyone to complete my homework. I have been searching for this a lot on internet but couldn't find a solution to this so i decided to ask this question here.
i have this sql code. what i want to do is that create a basic login form where users puts it's username in the UsernameTextbox and Password in the PasswordTextbox. If the the information match then a message box appears saying that the user is valid and if the information does not exist, a mesage box appears saying the users is not valid. now everytime i execute(run) the code, i come up with this error: Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression ''UserName' = 'Admin' 'PassWord' = 'testing123''.
The field names(UserName, PassWord) are also correct they are same as in the database. the information put in the username and password textbox are correct and they match the information on the database. But i dont know why this error comes up.

I have created a search form based on my SQL database to search for individual records based on 3 types of criteria. The form is up and running but I want to be able to add some more code. I have assigned Stored Procedure to each click event for each button. What I wantr to be able to do is after value is added to text box and button is clicked if there are no reults to display than a message box is displayed with adequate message detailing this. Also is it possible to add a count of records to the form. First one: At some point in the application I have the valor parameter (of the visual Basic Function) as a string with spaces that is something like "some string with spaces". When this happens, the stored procedure don't update the table. If I execute the SP directly in the DB (with SQL Developer) all works fine. I know it has something to do with the string missing some quotes(') but I haven't make it work yet. Some ideas on this?
Second problem: Sometimes, when debuging the application, if I interrupt the execution, I start getting the ORA-24338 'statement handle not executed' error for hours every time I try to execute it again. I believe it has something to do with an open transaction. But honestly, as I'm new in working with Oracle, I really have no idea what the problem could be.

I have had to do this for my web app, since it is clearly much tidier than letting the program bomb out with it's ugly default error page. My custom error page just has the customer's logo and a brief message saying "Error has occurred. Please return to homepage"The trouble now is that I have no way of knowing what caused the error, when a customer reports it.
Is there a way to make the actual error message appear on this custom error page too?
I dragged and dropped a label control on my web form. This now prevents me from running in debug. I have not used Publish in the Build menu or used ClickOnce. The Project - application page has "enable XP visual styles" checked. I am making a Visual Basic program that launches Halo CE, and two other programs at the same time. The two other applications load fine but when it tries to launch Halo CE an error windows comes up saying that there is missing files which there is not. I use

I have tried to copy and paste numerous files into the "Debug" folder from the Halo CE folder but there is one file that is demanded but is simply not on my computer. I would also not want to put programs files in the debug folder because I wish to publish this to "Halo Maps."
