Where And How To Store Functions In Asp.net.vb

I am using visual studio 2008, asp.net.vb.I have various functions; 1 that calculates totals, 1 that calculates averages, 1 that calculates percentages etc. The data they act upon is different depending on the particular web page, but all my pages use these functions. So I want to know how I can store these functions in a single place so that all of my web pages can access the routines. At the moment all I know how to do is to write seperate functions in the code-behind for each individual web page.

What I am trying to do is have a class where the functions of the same name are both instance functions and shared functions.
Public Shared Function Get...(byval xx as xx)
and
Public Function Get...
The Public Function uses a Property xx created in the constructor, whereas the Shared Function has the parameters (byval xx as xx).

I am coding a program that will allow the user to input 5 payrolls for Store 1, Store 2, and Store 3. The total of the 5 payrolls are then added together and shown in the respective Store's labels. A total label is also there to add up all the totals into one number. The numbers in the label must be in currency form. My problem is the numbers don't add correctly when I hit calculate. The first two numbers add together, but then after that the number just seems to subtract a random amount.
So far I have this --

1) Is it possible to access the Excel mathematical functions without actually opening Excel?
I was thinking of through a DLL WinAPI call or maybe a delegate function or smaller program?
2) Does anyone know of a MS link or area that gives instruction on "how to" use every function of every Windows DLL at all?
Or for all those that Microsoft have chosen to document online at least.

While converting types, I have found myself using both VB functions and BCL Convert.To* methods.
E.g.)
Cstr() vs. Convert.ToString()
CInt() vs. Convert.ToInt32()
CDbl() vs. Convert.ToInt64()
etc...
Are there any subtle differences that should be noted?

I'm redoing a program for my company and my boss wanted me to created the entire thing through functions...
For the task I wanted to know is it possible to have functions within functions?
Sort of like in C where we would have nested structures?
Its a FILE I/O, with robot commands, moves and verifications....
So I would find the line in an excel spreadsheet where it moves, the coordinate, put it into an array.
Take the actual results store them into a two dimensional array...etc, etc....
Another function would eventually compare the results with the moves, and within a tolerance.

I attached the code I have. obj is underlined and says "Argument not specified for parameter 'Invoice4' of the 'Public Sub New (Invoice1 As Object, Invoice2 As Object, Invoice3 As Object, Invoice4 As Object)' and so the program won't run. What am I doing wrong?

I have made quite a good library for calculating Math problems like Quadratic Equations and many other. Now I met a friend, and hes programming a little in VB, and we were thinking if it is possible to import my functions from C++ to his code, so he can call them, when they are needed, so we can make a calculator? How can we do that?

I am not sure if i am using these in the correct manner. Basically i have an app that downloads a file from an ftp server (i am kinda cheating cos i am using chilkat). Now if i put the code directly in the form i can get it to do a progressbar.value = ... in it['s own sub.What i decided to do was stick my ftp download parts into a dll i created. Created a function within the dll and i have a return on that which returns the message 'file downloaded' or 'no file to download'. But can i return a value to update the progress bar as it goes when the code is contained in a dll? Or am i totally missing the point and how to use dlls?

How do you use the e.graphics functions? I have visual studio 2010 professional installed. I opened a windows form project, in the code window I type e., there's only End. or Enum., no e.! I am currently working with an IPhone API which consist of about 40 pages of aspx along with their respective aspx.vb pages. They are all partial classes because the API continues to add other phone platforms to it. Currently I have them residing just in a folder. /API/0.1 and /API/1.0..How would I call the functions from those IPhone API classes without having to put them in the App_code? I am trying to use the same form for several functions which means I have to change the properties. In order to do this, I was trying to put a select case in a module that could be recalled anywhere in the project.
As soon as I start a select case in a module, I get an error message "Error1Statement cannot appear outside of a method body." Does that require that it be in a form only and cannot be used in a module?

I'm trying to work on code where I enter number of hours into a textbox (txtHours) and then EITHER you press a button (cmdPay) and then the income for the week is calculated and shows up in a second text box (txtPay) OR txtPay does the calculation itself, everytime a number is typed into txtHours.

I am searching through my data grid view. My search variable picks data from the Cell, matches with search string and reports. This is perfect.I need to make it work so that if use wants to search say "John",block containing "John Smith" should be matched.At the moment I have to use "John Smith" completely.
