Add Xml A Node With A Bunch Of Children Nodes In .Net?
Nov 3, 2011I need to modify a xml file (actually a .rdlc report file) and add some nodes which have a lot of children nodes (and those children nodes again have children nodes). Actually they are almost the same strucutre, like this one:

<Height>0.23622in</Height>
<TablixCells>

and it will add my specified NS. (like I said, XElement.Parse(string) won't add it) So now I can construct the correct node. For my second problem I still can't figure out: I can't navigate to the target node by using the element name since it won't search for correct NS.
Asp.net - Add XML Nodes To Specific Node In XmlDocument?
Jun 19, 2012I have two XmlDocuments that both have a namespace attribute specified. Both documents have the same structure, but contain different data. I can't seem to get a specific node tree from one document added to the end of the same node tree in a second document. Here is an example of my two documents:
Document #1:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<rootnode xmlns="http://www.mynamespace.com/Service/2012-06-18">

I certainly know this is wrong... I've tried serveral different approaches. This particular approach adds all <Item> nodes to the destination document, but it adds them to the very bottom of the document instead of after the last <Item>. how to add a specific node tree an XmlDocument to a specific position in another document? Again, there is a namespace involved and the <Item> nodes have nested nodes/elements under each one.
NOTE: The <Id> nodes have example data to show uniqueness only. I can never count on any kind of numbering. The order of each <Item> node is totally unimportant. I'm just assuming it will be easiest to add additional <Item> nodes after the last one in the destination document.

Return A Collection Of Child Nodes From A Treeview Node?

I have two treeviews, and I am writing code that will copy treenodes from one treeview to another treeview if it is selected. If a parent node is selected, I would also like to copy over all the children. If it is just a childnode, then I would like to copy just that.
Here is what I have so far.

TreeView.nodes Sometimes Returns An Empty Node Collection?
Jul 1, 2009treeView control which has been plaguing me for the last few days.
I'm not exactly sure what is causing this problem to arise, so I will just explain what my program is trying to do.
I am building an application which will have plugin support. I have created a Plugin interface, which is implemented by each plugin, as well as a host interface, which is implemented only by the host application.
Each plugin has an Action subroutine, and when finished, it is supposed to call the ExecutionComplete subroutine in the host interface.
Now, onto the problem. I have a treeView on the host form, which has several nodes in it. If I create a button on the form which displays a message box with treeView.nodes.count, it shows up fine, and everything works as expected. If I attempt to display the same messagebox from the ExecutionComplete subroutine, it also gives the correct number of nodes.
This is where things get a little weird. I have implemented a save feature into my program, so you can save and load data. For some weird reason, if you have loaded the data from a file, rather than adding each node manually, it now returns an empty node collection ONLY if I try to access it from ExecutionComplete. If I try to access the nodes from a button, it still returns the correct values!
What could it possibly be about the ExecutionComplete subroutine that makes it return a value any different than what is returned when the exact same code is placed in a button click event? And why does it only happen when I've loaded the data from a file? I just don't understand how loading it from a file is any different than them adding the nodes manually. The nodes are definitely being added, as I can see them, and the button click event can also see them. Also, ExecutionComplete is obviously able to read the contents of the treeView, because it works just fine if the user has set up the treeView manually.

XML Node Search Jump - Xml Reader Reads All Child Nodes
Dec 16, 2009[Code] my problem is if i search the class node with the name attribute of value "IT MAJEL 03", the xml reader reads through the first class which is "IT MAJEL 04" and read all of its child nodes(which i think is very awkward. why continue reading to its child nodes if the class name you're looking does not even match). is there another way to actually jump the reader of the xml node to the next xml node of the same level?
I mean if I search the class named "IT MAJEL 03", the reader should jump to the next same level element it does not match the query. It should skip reading the "IT Majel 04" child nodes. what I want to achieve here is I want to save nanoseconds of computing.

Mar 12, 2012I have the code below that looks at an XML file to find a node named IssueMaterialPO and finds it successfully in the XML listed in the second code block. It doesn't find anything in the XML in the third code block. I have tried various search strings in theSelectSingleNode argument, all with no luck. I'm not sure if my search is wrong, if it's something to do with the namespace, or something else entirely. I'm new to working with XML and am not sure what to try next.

I want to set Checked=True on the TreeView Node which matches a certain value.
