Binding When Dll Is Not Available In Bin Directory?

How can I successfully compile when a secondary projects dll is not available to the primary project during compilation? I don't want to have the secondary projects dll be absolutely necessary but rather have it used only if I explicitely call for it. For example, I have ...
[main project]
Dim thisArr(,) As String = SecondaryProject.Reports.listReports()
[secondary project]
Partial Public Class Reports
[code]....
Of course when i compile, and I have removed the secondary projects dll from the main projects bin directory, i get "Type 'SecondaryProject.Reports' is not defined."

Im trying to connect to AD and carry out some basic tasks for a .Net application written in VB .Net. I would like to create the application so when it loads, it automatically binds to the default AD domain that the user is logged onto. This has led me to writing the code

But this doesnt work.

I use objectbinding to display client data in a datagridview. The datagridview also contains a counry-column allowing the user to choose the country of the client.Unfortunately, databinding of comboboxcolumn does not seem to work if an own business class is used. Using a simple collection instead works well.Copy the sample code into a new windows project and the programm runs fine. Then comment and uncomment the two lines with "XXX" and the code will fail. Why and does anybody know how to make the sample code work by using the business object class(variable named "newClientListVariable" in the sample)? [code]

I started programming in VBA, then graduated to VB6, and I am now using VB.NET 2008 Express.I have read, in the various posts, that I should keep Option Explicit and Option Strict both on, in order that I use correct VB.NET code and not VB6.I am trying to do that but am totally confused with the results of one of my programmes that was running perfectly with Option Strict off, but now advises:Option Strict On disallows late binding. To me it appears that I am using early binding, but to be honest I am not clear on the binding situation. I have checked through a number of google items, and a number of this Forum's items without seeing the light.[code]

copying the file from one Directory to another directory by create the folder if that folder is not exists in destination directory.Example:

Is it possible (I'm sure it is) to validate a user's credentials against Active Directory without using Directory Services?I'm building a Browser-Based WPF application which requires users to login to and get validated via Active Directory. Since .Net 4.0 (or maybe 3.5) accessing Directory Services from an Application requires the application to be fully trusted. Since IE won't provide full trust to an application if it doesn't have the signing certificate in it's cert store, the application is refused startup permission.
If I don't use Directory Services, then I can leave the application as Partial Trust and validate my user's credentials without having to install a certificate on each user's machine.

I have a straight-forward task I'm attempting to accomplish. I have the mechanics down, and need to hammer out the details but I'm stumbling across one small point. :)
This script is supposed to take the files in the local C:Temp directory, and copy them to a selected user's shared directory on the file server.

This script does indeed work (and I'm aware I need to create exception handling) but it only copies what contents are on the server's directory of C:Temp rather than the local source directory.
I'm using VB.NET/ASP.NET to achieve this.
How am I able to direct my function to use the local user's directory rather than the remote server?

I need it to verify that the files copied successfully by comparing the source to the destination. If comparison returns equal then perform action1, if comparison returns unequal then perform action2.

I am going to need to create a windows form for work that we can connect to a database table, select a directory and move files from the directory that are in the table and move to another folder. The directory will have sub directories that I need to search for the file name and move. I would like to have the table hold the file name (or path) and move all files that are in the database. First off a short background of the project I am working on- I am developing a program that will be run off removable media (i.e. USB Flash drive). This will be a �virtual desktop� which you will be able to take with you and have the same �desktop� on any system. As we know drive letters can change with each host system the drive is plugged into, I need to be able to determine the path for the flash drive and access a specific folder ( i.e. My Documents)
I have an picture box(representing the icon) placed on my form (form1) and when I click the icon I want to be able to open and view the a specific folder from the portable drive. I need a click event that will determine a dynamic drive letter for a directory on the removable drive and then open that directory in an explorer window.
