Capture Up To 5 Words Before And After A Given Word?

I've managed to become semi-literate in regex's, I'm stuck on this one though. I need to capture up to 5 words before and after a given word (not necessarily in the same sentence). So, for example, if the target word is AARDVARK in the following text:
AND A TRIP TO THE ZOO. THE AARDVARK WAS THE MOST INTERESTING CREATURE HE HAD EVER ...
I would like to capture {A, TRIP, TO, THE, ZOO} & {WAS, THE, MOST, INTERESTING CREATURE}. Obviously, if I could simply capture the whole string "A TRIP ... INTERESTING CREATURE", I can parse out the words.

Is there a simple way to insert a specific word between 2 or more words that of course have spaces?I'm doing if and next and if and next.I have 200 columns of programming for something that it may be simpler to make.So, p.e with the word "and", "Hello world" will be "Hello and world" or p.e. "Hello nice world" would be "Hello and nice and world".Words can also be like "Hello nice world"(doesn't show here,the spaces are "hello nice world" .I don't mind the spaces between to be only one but the words must be separated with the key word and space before and after.

It has been a while since I have used regular expressions and I'm hoping what I'm trying to do is possible. I have a program that sends automated response regarding a particular file and I'd like to grab the text between two words I know will never change. In this example those words are "regarding" and "sent"
Dim subject As String = "Information regarding John Doe sent."
Dim name As String = Regex.IsMatch(subject, "")
So in this case I'd like to be able to get just "John Doe". Every regexp I'm coming up with includes the words "regarding" and "sent". How can I use those words as the boundaries but not include them in the match?

attached is my project on making multiple words from 1 word
This solves the word and has an option to save. Or it solves and saves all words in a list. I tried to do it with jokers using the jokers as every letter but it slows the program down drastically.

I need my VBA Macro to locate text throughout a document and move it. The information that needs moved can easily be detected by the font colors. For example:
"Celica Toyota": Toyota would always be a specific Green font and Celica would always be a specific blue. There can be more than one word in the range that needs swapped (ie: "Monte Carlo Chevrolet").
I have some really long drawn out code, but there's got to be something more efficiant.

I need to Replace two duplicate word into two different words.Like:

I recently had some problems with the performance of the Word object model. In an add-in that I wrote for Word I need to parse through all the words of a document and replace some of them or ask the user for the ones that have multiple replacements. I know that it is faster to ask Word for all of the document text content at once and then process it and put it back all at once again, but this is not suitable for my add-in because I need to have access to the range objects that represent the words that have multiple replacements so that I can somehow mark them in the document and present the user with a tool tip from which he can select the replacement he wants.
So for the moment the single great speed improvement that came in my head was multithreading since most people already have dual core or better. The problem is that all the things you find on Google say that multithreading in Office is a very bad thing to do.
So is there any one who managed to do this in a manner that worked in most of its usage? By this I mean if it also worked on other PCs then the development one?

Now, I want to know how many 2-word group in this sentence. I can do this using: New Regex("([a-zA-Z]+s+(?=[a-zA-Z]+))") to get this #.
Is there a way to capture these 2-word groups?

I'm trying to make a form that will read my wordlist. txt (one word or phrase per line) then using a timer, insert one word randomly selected from the list, and display it in textbox1 where it will remain until another timer changes the word. The word in the textbox will display for a random time 1min to 7 min, then the textbox displays another word randomly selected from the word list.

i wanted to link options selected from Comb box A (general) to specific options in combo box B (specific). I want to pick a word in Combo box A that has specific words/phrases in Combo Box B show. But not all the words to show in the combo box B if they aren't associated with the Word picked in Combo Box A. So I am hacking together an app which listens to traffic using SharpPcap library, it reconstructs the packets from sessions using the code from TpcRcon.
Listening and reconstructing part work on their own . What I want is on each packet arrival main window gets an event so it can display the packet , and when session is reconstructed display a complete packet (I am interested in HTTP ones) . -That is where it breaks with weird symptoms: for example right now it does not stop on invoking stop listening method - the sharppcap library function hangs there forever waiting on this line of code : m_pcapThreadEvent.WaitOne();//wait for the 'stopped' signal from thread
I also had it not working and crashing in sharppcap function because I had omitted one parameter in form delegate- which makes no sense, because form delegate does not deal with packet capture at all and only reacts on "New Packet" event from my "Listener" class (which is only there to notify main form)
My app starts as module main instancing class "Listener". MainForm has it
registered as friend with event and handles even "New Packet"

other than GML (Yoyogames.com Game Maker Language), I am new to the coding world. The only "major" project I have completed using VB is a computer calculator that exactly mimics the capabilities of Windows 7's calculator. Yesterday, I began a Chatbot program for my girlfriend. Basically in visual basic 6 I could access word tables in existing templates with the code owordactivedoc.tables(1).select() where owordactivedoc refers to the active word document and tables(1) refers to the first table in the template.Trying the same code in VB 2003 just leads to errors. Secondly how do I access bookmarks or alternatively word variables.Furthermore how do one deploy web.services. For example the current program I am building is for another computer. Simply copying the web service to Inetpubwwwroot dont work because it is not picked up by the Internet Information Services program. I have to create the web service in vb2003 on the other computer change msconfig manually. Copy and paste the existing service vb file in the created folder replacing the empty vb file.

We have an interactive windows based application written in VB .Net 2010. It uses Word Object to display documents in MS Word. We have a form with a button. When the button is clicked we open the Word document and maximize the Word Windowstate. When we have the Visual Studio Tool running, the Word Document is maximized and has focus, even if we are running the exe from the bin folder outside of the tool. However, if Visual Studio is not running and we run the exe, focus remains on the original form window and the document stays in the task bar.

I have been trying to figure out how to read paragraph content which exists a heading. The heading itself is part of the table of contents. The heading will have a particular style (say Heading 1). For example: "Introduction" is a entry in Table of content with style Heading 1. I want to read content under heading "Introduction" but not any more content (i.e not content under sub headings of Introduction) I have been trying to do this using styles/style, TableofContent, Paragraphs/Paragraph,Range. I can search for the word Love in an .rtf file and return every occurance of the word into a RichTextBox. It returns the word and the scripture the word is in, but it also isreturning a bunch of weird text like: archan78988yykp etc etc. How do I onlyreturn the scripture with the searchedword, in this case the searched word is love. I have a VB.net application that gets data off our server with ODBC and populates and saves a Word Document. When I try to deploy it to another computer it will get the data just fine and populate the first document, but it will crash before saving it. I've installed the .net framework 4.0, Microsoft Data Access Components, and the Microsoft ODBC .net data Provider. The error code is 0xC0000005, which is from what I can see is called an "Access Violation Exception." It works fine on my computer.

I have document, with numerous pages, that will populate at key locations using a UserForm and bookmarks. One of the pages in the document may need to be repeated. In other words, one of the pages may need to be populated more than once (and inserted successively in the document).
The troublesome page has bookmarks that will need to be repopulated with different information for every new instance within that same document.
I am considering making a table with the verbage in the "Troublesome Document" located in a Table. When I need to repopulate a new instance of that page, I think I should:
1. populate the document
2. copy and paste the wording in a new page
3. insert the new page (without bookmarks yet maintaining formatting) before the "Trouble Document"
4. repeat steps 1-3 for every necessary instance
5. delete the "Trouble Document" with the Table

I'm trying to read a word document for the purpose of obtaining a word count, I realise Word has built in functionality for presenting a word count but I want to write a little app that will omit certain parts of the document from the word count.
So far I have tried this code to open the document but I am getting an error 'Word.Document cannot be found' and 'Microsoft.Office.Interop cannot be found'. I have added a reference to the Microsoft Office 12.0 Object Library under the COM tab. I have Office 2007 installed and I'm using VB2005.
