Nov 23, 2010I have a form with a textbox to enter a number and a button called "Create". When a user enters a number and clicks create the form gets populated with the number of buttons entered in the textbox and the title of the buttons are labeled by consecutive numbers. For example if you enter 5 the form will populate with 5 buttons labeled button1, button2, ...button5. When you click on these newly created buttons a messagebox will popup stating the buttons name. Basically I need to know how to create events and populate them with code I guess dynamically.

Create Application-Level Mouse Events?
Aug 16, 2011I have a program that I would like to create application-level MouseEnter and MouseLeave events for. Basically I have an app that I'd like to leave open that would be very opaque when not in use, and when the user moves the mouse anywhere within the bounds of the application, it becomes solid, and when they move their mouse away from the application, it becomes opaque again.
The obvious problem is that MouseEnter and MouseLeave are control-specific and so they fire every time you move over a button or menu or whatever, so Leave and Enter are constantly firing even though you haven't "left" or "entered" the application.
So, is there any way to create mouse events that only fire at the application level?

My problem is I cannot find any assistance with creating an Event that is attached to a Control that I inserted on a dynamically creeated TabPage. I call the "create_tab" sub (below) that creates a New TabPage and add some Controls (Button, two textboxes). Now, that I have the TabPage (and there could be multiple), I want to bind an Event to these items. no errors with this code, but how is Me possible since the Event is shared. it seems like there's no errors between switching shared with un-shared and switching Me with Myclass, all 4 combinations seem to work, isn't that weird

Jun 17, 2010I find that I write a lot of code within my classes to keep properties in sync with each other. I've read about Events in Classes, but have not been able to wrap my head around how to make them work for what I'm looking for.For example, in this one I always want to keep myColor up to date with any change whatsoever in any or all of the Red, Green or Blue properties.

If one or more of those changes, I want myColor to be updated. Easy enough as above, but is there a way to work with events that would automatically do this so I don't have to put myColor = Color.FromArgb(Red, Green, Blue) in every sub routine?
