Sep 28, 2011I am trying to programmatically post to a textbox on a web form in IE - I have tried sendkeys - but I dont find them reliable or consistent - The code below is perfect - but only seems to work in a webbrowser control. How do I (click a button/select a radiobutton) send 'hello world' to a textbox on a webform in IE? By the way I would be happy to use the webbrowser control (so the code below would work) - but the webpage (which is not the one in the code below) runs locally on my machine (I dont have any control over it) and does not seem to work within a webbrowser control

Fill A Web Form On An External Internet Explorer Browser?
Feb 14, 2011I have a page open on Internet Explorer, the site uses the Server.Redirect method which basically keeps the page reading "sitename.com/default.aspx" even when you move to different pages.. so with that said I really can't load it within a web browser on my form application.
I need to auto fill out the fields on an external Internet Explorer, not really in need of actually processing the page.

This works fine, unless I have Windows Explorer open and I'm looking at the 'MySubFolder' directory. Then I get an IOException The directory is not empty. - clicking OK dismisses this and then the folder structure is not deleted. Any thoughts on how I can get this to perform correctly (i.e. delete), even when running this code while having the folder struture open in Windows Explorer?

May 23, 2012I'm working on a website in which a user enters a name and then presses a button that prompts the server to create a pdf file according to the information provided, and then sends the file to the user.
I'm testing the website on my laptop without IIS.I needed the pdf to be hebrew and couldn't find a pdfwrite with vb on hebrew; instead, I create a MS Word document and then convert it to pdf using the code below.
This works fine on Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, but on Internet Explorer the page disconnects before the download. It disconnects when the create word statement is executed.

Automating Text In Internet Explorer
Jun 24, 2009I have some code that is supposed to automate a textbox on a webpage. The problem is, it only works half of the time. The text either displays or does not display. I added the internet controls as a reference but the HTML object library would not get added. Everytime i would go to do this, it would freeze.I also tried doing it two ways. The way that is commented out, always produced a null error. If i change the website to google.com, it works perfect everytime.[code]

Mar 29, 2010making a macro in excel that loads up internet explorer and fills out a form. I'm able to do all of that but i have a hard time to trigger a javascript onchange event that is triggered when a user manuallay types a number in the textbox and clicks outside the box.
