This icon is the Application icon which is in the same directory of the project.vbc is started with /win32icon:"Recycle Bin Empty.ico" parameter.Don't know why MSBuild can't reach the file.
Alright today im going to make a chat program in C++ and VB.net VB.net will be the server and C++ will be the chat room. I have an application that starts one of two external CAD applications depending upon the extension of a file in a ListView. I have been able to start up the application to view the file selected without a problem. I also have a seperate print click event for printing the file that opens the viewer application in the background and prints the file. This works perfectly for one of the CAD viewers but when I select a file that requires the other viewer application to print I get a Win32 exception and an error message stating that the file is not associated with any application and it cannot be opened. This of course is rediculous as it opens fine in the "View File" click event that opens the viewer to check the drawing.
One rather strange observation is that the CAD viewer that does print the associated file will launch the other CAD viewer application (that is associated with the other file extensions) when the "View" click event is handled even though I had not incuded the code to execute the process to start the viewer for that type of file. I realize this rather convoluted and may lie in the ProcessStartInfo arguments that I pass to the application.

I am getting this error in my VB.NET code. Anyone have ideas on what it could be or how to troubleshoot. I am using SQL Server 2008 and this error doesn't happen consistently. Looks like it happens completely randomly and doesn't seem to be originating from my code:

I have an application that is primarily developed on an x86 machine. I recently checked the app out of TFS onto a Win 7 x64 machine for development. However, every single form level resource file shows up in the error list with an entry like the following:
is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1) Line 127, position 5. C:Users...shortened...FormsfrmCustomer.resx Line 127 Column 5
What I find interesting is that my application level resource files aren't showing the same error. Plus, these are just XML files. They aren't applications in any way.
I'm currently working under VB2010 beta 2 on both machines. Obviously, with a bunch of errors, the app won't compile on the x64 machine.

I have been writing a security class in my application, I am able to encrypt the string correctly and without error. However every time when I try to decrypt this string again, i get an error with this as it returns the following Padding is invalid and cannot be removed.

I have found simular issues on web, and most of them say that the IV is not the same the encrypted version, but I can confirm that the IV is the same as they both access the exact same variable.

The business intent is that user enters the keyword 'abc' and clicks search button . We have defined different keywords in a xls which has 1600 rows and 16 columns . so when finding abc in any of the cells ,it has to return the value of a column#4 where the name is specified !
