Li/ul Tagged 'Menu' Not Working?

I have a "menubar" of sorts on my aspx page (jsddm). The items appear when the mouse hovers over the top-level menu item, and disappear when the mouse leaves. When I hit F5 on my virtual machine it works great (my vm is running Win 2003 server and using IE 8.0.6001.18702, also runs VS2008).However, when I publish it (hosted in IIS on the same VM) and try to view it from my regular machine (Win 7 with IE 8.0.7600.16385) the little buggers won't work properly.

I wish to make a wallpaper changer that can select a random wallpaper from a given directory and sub directories. I'm not asking for code at this point, I'd like a reality check to see how hard this could be. I'm still quite a newbie at VB so I just wanna check if what I'm thinking process wise would work.The basic thing I'd like to do is have it pick one picture out of a given dir and sub dirs. Then set it as the wallpaper. I'd like it to be resized if larger than the desktops resolution to fit inside it, no stretching cropping or stuff.
That's the simple things I'd like it to do. Unfortunately I have dual monitors so it'd have to pick two wallpapers, resize each one independently, stick them together, and then set the wallpaper. I'd also like to make a kind of simple database which would have the name of each pic and two values with it. I'd like a value to mark if it's been used already which would be reset when all pictures have been used. The second would be a simple tag. This way i could have all car wallpapers listed as tag 1 and all non-car wallpapers listed as tag 2. Then I could chose whether to use all or only tagged wallpapers.

I am adding some functionality to a custom ContextMenuStrip control that I have created. One of the first things that I need to do is increase the mouse hover time on the submenu context items. The following code works perfectly for the main context items, but will not fire my mouse hover event for submenu items.I believe the problem is that I need to set the tme.hWnd handle to the submenu. If that is the case, how do I get the handle of the submenu as it is opening?

i want to add a menu item to the user's Send To menu. In Visual Studio Installer i have added a shortcut to my application in the "User's Send To Folder". When i install my application a shortcut is being created in c:UsersalexAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsSendTo as it should be in Windows Vista.. Despite this the menu item is not showing! I cannot see the Send To Menu item!

Edit: I'm creating a program for places like schools or library where the password for all users are the same. I already made the program go to full screen and always on top and have disabled the user from using taskbar but I can't stop the start menu from appearing.

I have started a new blank project for VB 2007. I have taken the old code (VB 2003) and added it to the project.The line marked below worked on the old VB, now it does not. I get the following error:

Troubleshooting tips:
Use the "new" keyword to create an object instance.

I have been working on an app that was basically a vb6 app but had to be changed and I did it all using VB 2008. works well, great. One of the problems that I had was to work on different groupboxes or frames. Since they are layered on top of each other, working on one frame would mess up the others. Eventually it all went okay. but now if i want to add another item in the menu and hence add another groupbox (or frame) in the same app - it would definitely be a nightmare.

How do I make a menu item on a menu strip link to another windows form (like a menu item that links to an about page already created in the project). I have combed these forums and the 'net and can't find an answer to my specific problem. My menu strip disappeared (after deleting a small secondary form within my project). I therefore created a new strip and while recreating the menu items realized that the original menu items are still present, showing in my properties list. I have checked my design file as well and the original menu strip is definitely gone but the original menu items are there. I don't have many items so I would have no problem just deleting the original ones but I can't see them to delete them! I have checked and they are all set to visible. I have also moved everything on my form to see if it is behind anything else.

I have a blank form and when the use right clicks on the form, they get a context menu with any number of names in the menu. This changes depending on the situation. I can get the context menu to add/remove the list of names but when I click on one of the choices and it goes to my routine (from addhandler) I can't find the property that tells me what they clicked on...

I recently installed WSP Builder on a machine with Visual Studio 2008 already installed.Quite expectedly, the WSP Builder sub-menu appeared (and still appears) under the Visual Studio 2008 Tools menu.Having then installed Visual Studio 2010 Professional and installed WSP Builder a second time, I can not seem to find the WSP Builder sub-menu anywhere under any of the Visual Studio 2010 menus.Can anyone throw some light on this "missing menu" problem?

VB express 2008 .net 3.5 or .net 4.0 VB express 2010?I have written application to convert RTF to HTML. The main Purpose of the application is to copy VS code to the clipboard and covert it then put it back into the clipboard as a HTML Document so that it can be pasted into a HTML document such as Windows Live Mail. I found that code copied and pasted is spaced out in in the wrong positions.
The applications works perfect with no bugs so far. I then asked Myself how to go about doing the copy with the least amount of operator interaction. So I added an Icon to the Icon Tray with a right click menu to use to convert once the Rich Text Format was copied to the clipboard. This works fine except you have Five steps, Select the text, Copy to clipboard, Right Click the icon, Select the Converter and Paste. The normal is three steps.
To this the best solution is to add a context menu item to the active form such as the RTF editor or window. So that when you select the Rich Text to copy and right click on the form to bring up that menu then to Just Select the menu Item such as "Copy RT and Convert" I searched and found about 544000 Items and tried to restrict down to no avail. I read until I finally gave up. I did not find any code examples of this. Almost every thing I found related to the web or some other explicit document like Excel and not to the Various windows that could be active with RT in it.
how do you add a context menu item to the context menu of an active rich text format window such as WordPad or VB?I have test in my application that tests to see if it is a RTF in the clipboard so if it is not the converter does nothing.

It appears that my favorite thing in the world is tackling projects that are beyond my current knowledge and abilities. I have a little project that I am working on which is a simple image viewer stocked with (upon completion) your standard Load..., Next/Previous, Zoom In/Out, Actual Size, and Full Screen capabilities. However, I am running into a few snags:
(1) I've been able to get my "Load..." button to display a file dialog box, but I cannot seem to get a working filter (with which only image file types are allowed to be selected) in working order.
(2) I have a PictureBox object (entitled PictureBox1) that displays the image selected via the file dialog box, but it loads images in their full size (1:1/100% zoomed) state without scrollbars, etc. to allow me to navigate the loaded image. I would like to have it load the image, initially, to fit within the dimensions of PictureBox1 and from there be able to zoom in/out via my "Zoom In/Out" and "Actual Size" buttons and be able to scroll if the zoom level is beyond the dimensions of PictureBox1.
(3) It dawned on me that I haven't the faintest idea how to get my "Next/Previous" buttons to allow the user (me) to navigate, in succession, the images contained in the folder in which the currently loaded image is stored. [code]
