I would like to be able to search any record that is mark with a checkbox to show up in my search screen when I do a search: [code] The problem that i am having is that now that I have added the code to my project to search for the checkbox field in the search screen and if I leave everything blank and click on the the search button I get no record found. I expected to see all that data, since I have nothing selected. Now if I click my checkbox, as soon as I click on my search button I see that two records that I have added for my test.

The one area I am have a problem is PositionItem. I would like to sense that the User has changed the Record Number in the BindingNavigatorPositionItem, handle my record Update, and move to the Record Number the User entered I have looked all over and have not found any way to do this.

Is this the right way to delete a record in a mysql im using a listview do i have to code the listview? I have a textbox for searching a database. When the text changes it runs a functioncFilter() and loads the records. It is set up to search different columns of a database, and it unfortunately only the first record matching is pulled from the database. Example: when the database contains two people (Bob Smith & Bob Smitt) the user can type the name in the search field. However When the user types Bob Smit it only returns Bob Smith and not both names in the database. I want this to act as a filter, dynamically changing the last with each additional letter typed in the search box. Below is my source code,

Sometimes line2 and line3 are NULL values in my database.I am using .NET TableAdapter and DataTable to make my query. When I try to pass in my line2 parameter (@line2) it is equal to a string with value = nothing. My database does not interpret this as NULL and says the records don't match, but I know they do? How do I pass in a string = nothing and have it compare to a NULL value in the database as being equal? I have tried string = DBNULL.value but won't compile.I have done similar comparisons with integers etc. using integer = Nullable (of integer) but this does not exist for strings.
