Change Font Size In Console Window App?
May 20, 2010Is there a way to programmatically change the font size of a console window? I know that you can right click on the window's button in the taskbar and click on properties.... but is there a way to do it on a per-application, per-use basis, and do it programmatically?

Aug 25, 2010I can't change change the font size or font name or color of the text in the DHTML Editing Control. I have 2 listbox controls FontNameList containing all of the installed fonts on my PC and FontSizeList containing some numbers to be used as fontsize and I use the execommand and build my App but the font did not change instead it grew bigger but when I tryed to change it back it stayed the same. The Code for that was:

Font Dialog - Application Allowing Users To Change Font Details Within Application
May 10, 2010I use a fontdialog box in my application allowing users to change the font details within my application. This works fine but unfortunatly I don't seem to be able to set the values in the dialogbox as they are read only.
Basically if the user has Bold Wingdings set and wishes to change it to something else then when they open up the fontdialog box I would like to be able to set the font to wingdings and bold so the user can see what they previously selected. Word seems to do this so why cant I?

Why Does A Panel Control Have A Font Property
Jan 19, 2009Why does a Panel control have a Font property? What does it affect? Any controls added to the panel will have their own Font property that controls their appearance, so I don't see the point of the panel control having a Font property, especially since it has no text property.

Save A Richtext.txt File With Different Font Property?
Sep 13, 2010I created a richtextbox on a form, a button to invoke the font dialog and another one for the color dialog.
Now user can type in any text and change the font size and color. It looks very nice customized on the screen. I saved it as and txt file.
I open the file to read. It is no more as colorful as when I type in. I 'd like to save the file with those customizetion so when the read on the other end will able to see what is important in the message.

Forms :: Change A Property On Form - Doesn't Show That Change
Jan 13, 2010I'm working on a simple base form in which all the other forms in the project will inherit. This base form only adds 5 properties (at the moment) dealing with painting a gradient background. The problem I'm facing right now is when I change a property on Form1 (the test form) and click run it doesn't show that change. I also checked the .designer.vb file and when I make a change it's not added to the code behind file, I'm at a loss right now to why.

It works just fine.Now I have added a second RTB on the same form. Of course that original "change font" button does not work because it works on RTB1, not RTB2. I know I could put a second button to change font in RTB2, but I would like a more elegant solution. How can I tell which RTB box I was in when i clicked on the "Change font" button?

However, I wanted to add a feature that restores the original values. I was having trouble knowing what to call that or how to access that info.
I'm using the FontDialog box. So I can have the user select a font and change whatever I let them. But I want to have a reset button or something that sets it back the way it was. How do I access that value?
