Is there a way to add descriptions to my classes, structures, enums, & modules in the object browser?
Example:
In the Bitmap Class the property Flags has this[code]....
When I click on anything in my namespaces there is nothing for descriptions, is there a way to add descriptions?
What would the folowing VB.NET enum definition look like in C#? [code]
View 7 RepliesI want to grab all of the Alicia Keys photos and there description...if you go to the site you'll notice that there are 145 images...along with a next button to cycle through the images...Here's what I would like to do:1) grab the source code of the image2) grab the source code of the description3) "click" on the Next button/link and move onto the next image
Here's the catch, the href value for the Next button doesn't seem to change:

If you create a COMClass, I've noticed that the values in the XML Summary tag do not show in the object browser of VB6/VBA when you reference the resulting tlb file. Is there a way to have these values show up?
View 1 RepliesThis is more of a user-proofing and aesthetics questions,Whenever we call a method in the .NET framework that requires parameters (most of them), as we're typing the parameters we wish to pass, Intellisense not only tells us the parameter type we need to enter, but it also gives us a brief description of what the parameter is.
Is there any way that we can include that same functionality in the methods that we write?
I'm looking for a simple and easy way to retrieve the names/descriptions of all the volumes *exactly* as they are shown under My Computer in Explorer.

I'm guessing it requires a P/Invoke to shell32.dll or something, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

I have a user control that inherits the FW ListView and I need to dispose of two objects when the form's disposing of it's objects. Here's what I've concluded already, am I on the right track?

long story short, I have created a ListView type control, using UserControls for the parent control and the ListViewItems. Most the of the control is written and works fine, right up to the point where I tried to replicate the 'Control.SelectedItems(0).Index' property and the 'SelectedIndexChanged' event.
Each child object knows its index value, and could pass this value via the SelectedIndexChanged event (assuming this is how it works in a normal ListView control -- user clicks on an item, and that item fires an event updating the selected index value in the parent object).
How does the child object raise an event in the parent object? I have a feeling this could be done with Delegates, but I'm still learning about their usage.

convert the code to be used in a browser with tabcontrol? I tried, and it works with one that DOESN'T use it, but I want to use it with my browser with tabcontrol. And, I have read ALL of the ones previously given to other people.
I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?

I coded a web browser over the course of a year called Nova - very advanced with tabbed browsing, bookmarks, homepage, history, etc etc etc etc. I could go on all day about how advanced it is. But.. there is one flaw. You cannot make it the default browser; I don't know the code!I already know the CommandLineArgs stuff so it actually opens the HTML file rather than just opening the program; in fact, I already can make files open with Nova completely. It's just the other stuff - you know, when a website is to be opened from a help file or something, it opens with Nova, Windows recognises it as the default browser, stuff like that.

The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...
I also would like to know how to go about making new tabs on demand and not have a bunch of tabs just sitting there...
last question how do i go about making new windows not just for browser windows but, making something like firefoxes options window.. not necisarily to do that but just to make i guess another form pop up...

I have a nested class, let's call it class1 and it has class2 inside it; VB.Net eg:[code]
1) How can I define X number of Class2 objects[let's call it: Node(x) array]** with NEW() subroutine called?' this raises error: dim cls2(n) as new class2 end sub.

I remember I wrote a ProcessManager class with this functionality in .net 2003, nearly 4 years age, I don't have the code now.
I have been searching a lot online but couldn't find a solution for my problem. I want it to refresh every certain interval of time without this message to display. Now Ican't minimize my program because I'm putting an automatic Sendkeys.send("{Enter}") after the refresh to get rid of that message by clicking on "Retry".And If I minimize it the Enter will be executed on the active Window, which might be any other Window.
I hope that you understand what I mean, If not, I will clarify more.
