I would like to identify a treenode before I repaint a tree and wish the new tree paint to show that particular node in the display window.

View 7 RepliesIn a project I'm working on studying Regular Expressions in matching text in a text box to the regular ezpression. The indexes and lengths of matches in a text box are stored in a list box. When I click an index, I use the info to set the text box selection Start and Selection Length so I can quickly observe all of the matches in the text box by clicking or using the arrow keys to scan through the text box listings.
It works great except when large amounts of text are in the text box, some of the matches are scrolled off the visible area of the text box so it is necessary to manuall scroll throught the text box, which reduces the usefulness of the setup.Is there a way to get the text box to automatically scroll into hidden text that is marked with the selectstart and selectlength so they are all automattically displayed when the list box is clicked?
I am navigating to a website using a webbrowers control and I wish to automatically scroll the page after it is loaded. I have used scrolltop , scrollleft commands as set out below but nothing seems to happen.
WebBrowser1.Document.Body.ScrollTop = 100
WebBrowser1.Document.Body.ScrollLeft = 200
I have placed the above commands in a command button and wait until the page has loaded before I press it and also in the

Other commands such as

I have a thumbnail control where I am adding Images using openfiledialog and after adding it automatically scrolls down.
So I would like to stop scrolling the scrollbar and just append the Images.
I have tried using this code:

It worked fine but the scrollbar is at the bottom and it shows me the first row of Images.
And this is my second attempt by doing this way:
I have just set the autoscroll property to false and it hides the scrollbars and I'm stuck with this so how do I scroll the remaining Images?
And Is there any other method to hide scrollbars and just scroll the Images using mouse? Or any other simpler way to get rid of this?
I want to select a node from my tree view, whatever I select is going to get a record from my database, I need a unique ID in each node so it will collect the correct document relating to the selected node.
How can I do this? the name of the node maybe used more than once? Each row in my database has an ID and Title, the title is the name I guess the ID being unique needs to be tied in somehow.
I have a treeview which i populate dynamically using an XML Datasource. The leaf nodes in the TreeView attempt to open a URL in an iframe within the page.This all works fine, but i would like the iframe to be hidden until the point the leaf node is selected.what event is triggered when the nodes are clicked?? I tried the SelectedNodeChanged event but this doesnt seem to get triggered!

While fiddling with my code i noticed that when i remove the NavigateUrlField="URL" from my code the tree triggers the SelectedNodeChange event, But does not Trigger if NavigateUrlField="URL" is put back in.

My problem is that when I try to collapse my tree then my last viewed document in the web browser remains visibe.
How can I ensure that when I collapse my tree my web browser will also become totallt empty?
I am not the original author of this software project and the code is poorly documented. I am mainly a Java/C++ developer.The program displays the tree structure and allows files and folder to be selected. The program is getting errors with FileSystemTreeView when trying to return nodes on a system with a reserved partition.Here is what is happening: tree.SelectedNode = tree.Nodes(0) 'returns error with system reserved partition.calling, GetDriveList() will properly return all the drive letters - and not throw an error. Only when trying to get a tree.Node() or tree.load() is the error occurring.

Set autoscroll to true (which will show scrollbars)Now put this whole panel inside a groupbox.Shrink the groupbox until the scrollbars are hidden (visually hidden, not visible = false)

I have a class, let's call MyClass. I have a form which has a horizontal scoll bar, a vertical scroll bar, and a panel. The 2 scroll bars move the panel. When I execute the form, the panel will scroll under the horizontal scroll bar when using the vertical scroll bar. But it scrolls over top of the vertical scroll bar when using the horizontal bar. I don't understand why 1 of them goes over and the other 1 goes under. Is there some property that controls this? Or some way to that 1 set it up wrong? The vertical scroll bar is on the left edge of the form , to the left of the panel, and the horizontal scroll bar is near the top of the form, above the pane. Can anyone direct me as to how to get it to stop scroll over this bar?
