Change A Controls Background Color When It's Disabled?
Jan 13, 2009Is there a way to change a controls background color when it's disabled. The problem is its grey on grey and hard to see.

Disabled Text Box Background Color?
May 28, 2009I've been searching all over the interwebs this afternoon trying to find a way to change the color of a disabled text box. As it stands, I'm still working on my first program (A very simple, select a shape from a combo box and input values and the program gives you the area) and I have it working well enough, I'm just working on cleaning up my code and changing that disabled text box color. As it stands, the default disabled color is very similar to the enabled color, and I don't want to just change the enabled color. I'd rather change the disabled to work with the scheme a little better.

Jul 5, 2009does anyone know how to change the text color of a disabled checkbox control?I have drawn a black background on my form interface and a checkbox has been positioned on top of this background. When the checkbox has its enabled property set to false, the text cannot be seen at all ( so I assume the disabled text color is black ).Does anyone know how to change this color? I've tried changing the chkbox.forecolor property from within the program code but it didn't change the disabled text color :/

Change Background Color & Font Of DateTimePicker
Feb 15, 2010I want to change the Forecolor and the Font color of the DateTimePicker. (The one Narrow white window with Black font which appears on dragging "D.T.Picker" control onto the "Form").
So far, I couldn't do it.
I found the same question (by someone on 31st Aug 2007) and answers by Figo Fei in the forum. Figo fei said, "It is truly not possible to directly modify the forecolor of the DateTimePicker which is concealed in its implementation. However, there is a workaround to change its forecolor through own-draw mode in a custom control inherited from dateTimePicker.". And he gave the code which looks like - for me - either VC++ or VC#.
