And Checkedlistbox add and edit more than 1 data per item. So if you take a look at Cheat engine it got 3 data per row. 1: the checkbox, 2: the item name and 3 the value i want to change if i doubleclick (all this in same row)
So if you take a look at A cheat engine Video at you tube you can see the checked listbox that you can freeze things and change values so more thann 1 data.

View 3 RepliesOk, so I have a listview on one form, and when a button is pressed it opens up a new form with the contents of the selected listview item and it's subitems in a series of textboxes. The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. What command would I use to change the selected listview item and subitems to whatever is in the boxes?

I have an application that uses a treeview and a checkedlistbox to allow a user to navigate and enable/disable printers on their computer. Everything works great.One of the program requirements is that the user interface must visually indicate which printer is the users default. The obvious best way to do this is by changing the font of the item in the listbox that matches the users default printer. From my research, it seems that I will have to subclass the checklistbox and add the drawmode property to the new control. I've got no idea how to do this with a checkbox and make it actually work!

I wanted to put a checkedlistbox in a groupbox with just one item showing and in the mouse enter event show more items by making the height of the checkedlistbox bigger. The problem is, if it gets to a certain height, it disapears at the bottom of the groupbox because thats its parent.
Is there a way of it showing beyond the boundaries of the groupbox ?

Having some issue trying to programmatically check items in a CheckedListBox.What i am trying to achieve:
1. Pull Staffnames from database
2. Separate each staff member via delimiter
3. checked = true for each item in StaffCHKlist where staffnames = existing StaffChKlist item

After the Add to orderlist button is clicked. It has to replace the old ListBox item and it needs to be saved on a TextBox (the order editor) on form2.
- And order of 0 items may not be accepted
- When nothing is selected, and user presses the "Add to orderlist" button, the program must not be exited with a crash.
- The order (orders.txt) must not be made at start-up, but when the first order is placed.
- When a order has been made, the only way to correct the number is to edit the order.
- When an order is placed, it must directly be put in orders.txt.
- The order must exist after the program has quit.
- You cant order the same thing two times.
- When u type a number by hand, the button to order must be usable.
- The can only change the order amount in the edit program.

I am using VB 2010 express and am trying to make a program for a project that generates lottery numbers in a specific way. What I have is two forms. Form one has two text boxes and a button. Form two has a checkedlistbox that is pre-populated with numbers from 1-56. What I am trying to do is have the program open to form1, the user presses button1 ("Select Numbers") which opens form2. From there they will select numbers they want to pick from (narrowing their pool of lotto picks to only numbers they want to use). Then when they hit select, I want the numbers they have checked to return back to the textbox1 on form1. HOWEVER, I also only want 5 numbers, randomly selected, from the pool of checked numbers the user selected on form2 to return to the textbox1 on form1..... I may be in wayyy over my head, but I have all of the forms designed and I have been close to getting the forms to at least communicate, but still far from doing what I have described I am trying to do.
