I am able to connect and get my data using dataset and dataadapter and fill my datagridview.But is there any similar methods to get the names out from the database and put them into a checkedlistbox?

And Checkedlistbox add and edit more than 1 data per item. So if you take a look at Cheat engine it got 3 data per row. 1: the checkbox, 2: the item name and 3 the value i want to change if i doubleclick (all this in same row)
So if you take a look at A cheat engine Video at you tube you can see the checked listbox that you can freeze things and change values so more thann 1 data.
I am using VB 2010 express and am trying to make a program for a project that generates lottery numbers in a specific way. What I have is two forms. Form one has two text boxes and a button. Form two has a checkedlistbox that is pre-populated with numbers from 1-56. What I am trying to do is have the program open to form1, the user presses button1 ("Select Numbers") which opens form2. From there they will select numbers they want to pick from (narrowing their pool of lotto picks to only numbers they want to use). Then when they hit select, I want the numbers they have checked to return back to the textbox1 on form1. HOWEVER, I also only want 5 numbers, randomly selected, from the pool of checked numbers the user selected on form2 to return to the textbox1 on form1..... I may be in wayyy over my head, but I have all of the forms designed and I have been close to getting the forms to at least communicate, but still far from doing what I have described I am trying to do.

I am using a propertygrid in vb.net (2008). I am able to populate it and save & get its values. So far so good.
I wanted to know how can I impliment a checked list box in propertygrid. (Shown in Image). Basically i have for example - first name, middle name and last name in property grid. I want to ask him which one he want to show or all. So in this way (checkedlistbox) he can select which one or all. Scenario One: Single Selection.The application loads the selected web pages and parse's the content, this could take a short time, or it can take a few minutes.No problem here. I am using a BackgroundWorker to perform the parse.
Scenario Two: Multiple Selection
My query relates to a method that I can employ to deal with iteration of the CheckedListBox to process the next selected web page back on the UI.

So I have the dataset with database in it, but I am struggling to get it from the dataset into the Checkedlistbox. Could someone do some quick code for this?Secondaly, I also want to set the checkbox's by using a string of integers which will look like "0110100110". I have a few checkedlistboxes in my GUI and the items in them are changed as needed. For example if I check an item in checkedlistbox1, it would trigger the items fromcheckedlistbox2 to be removed and new items will be added to it that are relevant.Similarly, depending on when the items are checked inside the checkedlistbox2, it will trigger new items to be added to checkedlistbox3. So I have added the functionsSelectedIndexChange to handle when items are checked inside the boxes.
I am running into a problem however. For example, I have some items in the checkedlistbox2 and one of them is already checked. When I click on something else in checkedlistbox1 it clears out all the items and repopulates the checkedlistbox2. In that case, however, since something was previously checked in checkedlistbox2, the selectedindexchange event is also triggered for that one as well because something was changed in that. Can I disable this somehow because technically I didn't "check" or "uncheck" anything, all I did was remove a checked item? I tried doing something like adding an if statement inside the
Ive got a CheckedListBox where I have a list of devices and a checkbox to tell me whether they are on or off. I want to be able to change the checkbox in the program of a specific device and then when I click submit, it to generate a string of numbers to tell me what boxes are checked (1 for on, 0 for off)Example: Boxes 1,3 and 7 are checked in the checkedlistbox, and there are 8 total, so the string outputed would be "10100010".

app_hwnd = FindWindow(vbNullString, CheckedListBox.CheckedItems)The thing is, if I use .SelectedItem, it only finds one window and if i use CheckedItems/SelectedItems it gives me an error: "Value of type 'System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.SelectedObjectCollection' cannot be converted to 'String'."
