VS 2008 List Of Web Pages That Load Into A CheckedListBox At Run Time

I have a list of web pages that load into a CheckedListBox at run time.These pages are user selectable.
Scenario One: Single Selection.The application loads the selected web pages and parse's the content, this could take a short time, or it can take a few minutes.No problem here. I am using a BackgroundWorker to perform the parse.
Scenario Two: Multiple Selection
My query relates to a method that I can employ to deal with iteration of the CheckedListBox to process the next selected web page back on the UI.
I need to wait till the BW has finished before we can move on to the next page.I'm sure the above example is not best practice to hold up the UI's iteration of the CheckedListBox, until the current web page is processed.

2. When Web Page Loads my Application Stops Responding. After that it responds. In one place of my Code i have added thread.sleep(10000). is it reason for that?

My boss has given me an asp.net web application that was done by his former employee. Now my boss has no contact with that employee. He wants me to make some changes in that web application. I went through the application. There is no documentation present for that application . Its a huge application. It contains many directories. I think it was a team work. It has many asp pages, aspx pages, jsp pages, xml pages, css pages, etc... How to understand other person or team's website or web application that was written in asp or asp.net and vb or vb.net?

What im trying to do is load form1 and form2 at the same time.I have a setting called hideform2.So when i run both forms at the start up i want to get it so when they click on a close button and form 2 hides.I want it so when they run the application again it dosent show form2 anymore?

i have a program and i want it to visit a pre-set list of websites which will be in a richtextbox and i want it to visit all the sites in order BUT heres my problem that idk how to fix it will only load the last page of the list it will not load any other ones. I made two applications the first one calls the other. But the other application takes time to load. Even on a fast Pc. So i was thinking of adding a loading form to it. For example when the other application is done loading the loading form goes away.

Whenever I publish my app, or when I run the exe from teh debug folder it takes a couple of seconds before the splash screen shows.However, when I run it from within VB (by pressing the "play" button) the splash screen shows immediately.
What could be the cause of this?

I am using this line of code on form load event it is working very fine but i have to problems
1. It replaces the form name and display the date and time but i want to keep both date and time and forms caption separated by some space.
2. When form loads it load the current date and time but the time does not change it should run.
What should i do please please help me code is as follows

I need to load a large txt file that is in a fixed width format. There are over 45K lines, so speed is important.I need to load one of the fields into a dropdown box and have another field (label) display the text of another field in the related line.I could import the file to an access db if needed, but would rather not as i also want the txt file to update from a link on a regular bases. So having it in a DB would be more work to process that part.[code]

The idea with this form is to add the futures which is calculated when the button is pushed but I need the list to update every time and show the values each time to which the previous value is added to the new calculation, e.g. of what it should look like in listbox:
Year 1: $1,290.93
Year 2: $2,724.32

I am using Stanav's PdfManipulation2.AddImageToPage(..., Pages) for iTextSharp library (v5.1.3) and was not able to add the image to specific pages: e.g. to add to only page 1 and 3 of a five pages PDF

Calling AddImageToPage() with the the optional Pages parameter will add the image to all pages though.

i am trying to create a list of list in that i would like to work on multiple accounts at the same time. lets say i have 5 accounts. every account has a seperate name. each account has a few fields. so i though of having a list of bookkeeping (with 5 accounts) and a list of accounts (with expense, income, tax, status, etc as fields). I have a form on a .NET webserver using aspx pages with the vb code-behind pages. The form collects the entered data and then emails it, that part works fine.Right after it gets emailed, this code checks to see if the email was sent or not and then updates the landing page accordingly. I have heard of setting server specs to have HTML pages parsed as PHP pages by changing the .htaccess or httpd.conf files. Is there a similar solution to have HTML pages parsed as ASPX pages?
A website I am working on does not want their PageRank to lower since their HTML pages are already indexed and used on other websites but wants to use some dynamic features of aspx pages (like include the navigation file so that changes to the nav will only have to be done in that one file).

I am using a propertygrid in vb.net (2008). I am able to populate it and save & get its values. So far so good.
I wanted to know how can I impliment a checked list box in propertygrid. (Shown in Image). Basically i have for example - first name, middle name and last name in property grid. I want to ask him which one he want to show or all. So in this way (checkedlistbox) he can select which one or all. To achieve something like this I guess a checkedlistbox need to be there in propgrid.

I know this is an easy answer but I'm having trouble finding it online.
I'd like to get the content of a CheckedListBox1 (or ListBox) by specifying a position on the list. For example, retrive the content of the 3rd item on the list?
I know CheckedListBox1.text will retrive the current highlighted content on the list.
I thought CheckedListBox1.SelectedItems(2).text or CheckedListBox1.SelectedItems(2) was the solution, but it doesn't work.
