Instead of using the binding navigator, I would simply like to use buttons. I'm familiar with the .Fill/.update etc. But what would create a new record?

I have a datagridview and the record on the datagridview are extracted from MS SQL Database Table. On my VB form, I have created delete button to delete the record.
